Because no one in the USA is doing anything about it. On the other hand, the Iranians, the Syrians, Hezbollah and a half dozen other mid-East entities are getting closer to the idea that they will just have to launch an attack agains the Israelis and the USA to correct the crime and apartheid being leveled against the Palestinians. The USA actively and violently started a war with Iraq a sovereign and independent state. Israel, the help of the UN in 1949 and the USA since then, has done the same thing - attack a sovereign and independent country. I am an American, and believe the USA and Israel are not only totally and completely wrong about their places in the world, but will very soon pay a price for their alliance they didn't expect. I hope I am wrong. I mean, what has Israel EVER done for the USA? Do we give them the bomb, billions and billions of dollars and all the military support they need - and for what? Name one thing that the Israelis have done for the USA, and don't tell me we support them because they are the "only" democracy in the area. That, among all reasons, is the worst one.

and here I thought the land was stolen by the Israelites over 2000 years ago.
oh, wait! the Romans stole it from them, then the Eastern Empire inherited it. Then the Christians founded the Kingdom of Jerusalem there. Then the Egyptians stole it. Then the Ottomans stole it.
And then the locals rebelled against the Ottomans during 1914-1920 -- with aid from the British.
So the British were awarded a "protectorate" and they left in 1947 after having divided the land among the then existing tribes with the Israelites holding the part known known as Israel.

Where do you draw the line on adjustments of the borders by military force?
If none are acceptable, do you go back to 500 BC??
If only to 1907 -- what is so magical about 1907? The Turks were running things, if mostly from the comfort of their homes in Anatolia.
Arabs. They wouldn't have any country at all if the British hadn't helped them overthrow Turkish rule.
And they've lost every war since.

I rule the Arabs have no claim at all.

I would suggest to you that you invest a small portion of your time to do some history research, maybe you will see that the state of Israel was created in 1948 by the British in agreement with its allies at the end of WW2,and that land also claimed by palestinians was taken from them by the jordain's,syrians, and lebanese, and as a matter of fact these same countries expelled palestinians from their countries because of the trouble they were causing said countries, and liberal hero arafat refused an agreement that would have created a free Palestine nation because he wanted more Israeli land, not to mention Jewish people also have claim to said land ever hear of ,Jesus, moses, david, and goliath,Bethlehem birth place of Jesus?

It is not so simple. Egypt kicked out the Jews for one thing, as far as I know. The UN granted Israel the land in 1948. The Palestinians had an opportunity to get some land but their once leader (now deceased, can't remember his name) blew it. He held out for all or nothing. A stupid strategy. I understand that the Jews have done a lot of good for the U.S. that we are indebted to them. A friend of mine told me this who is quite well-read and informed. He is a thoughtful man.
There are a lot of wealthy people that are jewish. They have money and power.

Even if that crazy lie you had said were true, I would still support Israel.
Israel is the only country in the middle east that isn't a rotting cesspool.

If you think Israel needs any body's support, why don't you go to war with them.

The land was divided and given freely. This is a moot question. Arabs have to learn to live in peace and stop hating everybody.

It's not as if those blood thirsty savages were doing anything with the land anyway. At least Israel has carved out a civilization amidst those irrational neanderthals.
