I am so sick of my job.

My husband leaves his pc on for DAYS at a time and I am wondering if this is harmful to the life of the pc and it's components. It's just on for the sake of being on, he's not downloading/uploading/running programs. I'm concerned that he may be shortening the life expectancy of an otherwise perfectly healthy, virus free pc...lol. Please tell me what damage if any, is done by running home computers for DAYS and even WEEKS at a time with no shutdown.

Me an my boyfriend of a year are going through a break up, although its not been confirmed I can tell it is happening an we are joint by a thread. Ive been trying not to face reality but its starting to hit me now and I cannot cope. It feels like my whole life is being dragged on a downward spiral, im just not interested in anything anymore. All i can think about is him and what Im going to do when he is eventually gone. I love him so much and have never felt like this about anybody but the damage in our relationship is now beyond repair. There isnt anything I can do now. I live in Michigan but a big one hit in Napanee, IN which is about 75 miles from me. There were several other smaller ones but that one did the most damage. I was just wondering 'cause watching the news this morning, it looks like they hit a lot of the Eastern part of the States. Hopefully, no one got hurt. I hate the damage and destruction that tornadoes cause but they sure are fascinating. One hit my front yard as a small child and uprooted several trees that were huge (atleast 4 stories high!). We made it into our basement and amazingly, it just missed our house and made a path through our yard. We were also lucky that none of the trees fell on the houses! I knew we were going to have bad weather because it was unnaturally warm (70's and 80's) and humid in Michigan which usually is a sign of bad weather in Northern climates. Anyone know why this is and can explain in simple layman terms?

I am doing a course at uni, and some of my friends believe the teacher is being racist towards the majority of students who are white (to put it very broadly). The teacher himself is also white, as he told us very early in the course.
One of my friends call it reverse racism. I say racism is racism any way you look at it.

I'm constantly hearing about how christians are upset that their rights are being stepped on by removing "god" from state affairs.

Put yourself in a position where the united states were not prodominently christian, instead it were prodominently Islam ...

for 13 years you had to say a pledge every morning that included the words "one nation, under Allah"

I want ALL religion to be free, practice whatever you want in your own house, but keep it out of state affairs

You could change this to Pastafarianism, Satnism, Taoist, Hindu, whatever *insert religion here*, the point is if the tables were turned, and the United States were not "your religion"
