Scenario:
You signed a contract with your (new) Company with a "Non-Compete" clause for 1 year effective after your last day of work with them.

Will the Philippine (Supreme) Court honour it if you are undergraduate and thus, you are very limited in the jobs you can apply to?

What are the factors before the (Supreme) Court recognize a Non-Compete clause as valid or invalid?

so after reading a post about Tony possibly going to RCR, which was interesting, it prompted me to question whether we'll ever see Sr.'s car (#3) on the track again or will it be retired forever. If we DO see it run, who the heck is gonna drive that thing??? IMO only Jr. could drive that # and even then it would be iffy.

I know a guy with a Ph.D in biochemistry who quit the Mormons right after he graduated from high school. I, in contrast, didn't leave the LDS church until my early-30's, although I was strongly doubting the church by my mid-20's.

I have to wonder: Did my brilliant friend leave the church earlier than me because his greater intelligence allowed him to see errors in the doctrine at a younger age?

my suggestion is to stop providing free medical care for senators and representatives who can easily afford to pay for their own. That would be a start. What suggestions do you have for the health insurance problem?

here is the situation...you are driving in the freeway when it starts raining heavily...there is an accident
what happens next A or B

A.) you walk out of the accident with minor scratches...and the 7 yr old boy in the car next to you dies...u dont know him and he is of no relation to you

B.)The 7 yr old survives the accident but it turns out that in this scenario...you find your self ending up with no arms or leggs

Would you change your life drastically for a stranger?..even if its a child?
i know that if it was someone we knew wed be quick to say yes ill do it,,but what if it was a stranger

Think about how ur life would be different...never walk again or hold anything.never drive ..i mean you could always install fake arms and legs but mentally would u be happy,,,would it be worth saving the 7 yr old boy that u dony know....but imagine how greatful it u would be if it was your 7 yr old boy or girl and the stranger saved ur childs life

I often hear my downstairs neighbor yelling obscenities at her children. One can't be more than 3 years old and the other is on life support. I have no idea if she is physically hurting her children and no evidence. Is this still considered abuse/neglect? Is there anything I can do? Should I do something at all?

12. Democratic socialism is an international movement for freedom, social justice and solidarity. Its goal is to achieve a peaceful world where these basic values can be enhanced and where each individual can live a meaningful life with the full development of his or her personality and talents and with the guarantee of human and civil rights in a democratic framework of society.
13. Freedom is the product of both individual and cooperative efforts - the two aspects are parts of a single process. Each person has the right to be free of political coercion and also to the greatest chance to act in pursuit of individual goals and to fulfil personal potential. But that is only possible if humanity as a whole succeeds in its long-standing struggle to master its history and to ensure that no person, class, sex, religion or race becomes the servant of another.

When people reduce the world's problems/joys to the lack/abundance of religion/lack thereof?

Take the often made comments about Intelligence and Religion. Or the Causation of War/Conflict.

To claim one bit of phenomena as _the_ deciding factor in all aspects of life seems rather strange.

To clear up my language (hopefully) I sometimes feel that people ascribe too much to the question of religion (Whether it be positive or negative) to the detriment of considering factors such as Economics, Psychology, Politics, heck something as simple as Resource Scarcity.

Are we a biased sample precisely because we hang out on the R&S board, are intersted in the questions regarding religion thereby magnifying (exaggerating) its effects onto all social phenomena?

What do you all think?

I am looking to buy a house and I have noticed that some are listed as having a heat pump for air and heat. I had never heard of a heat pump before but I have done some research on them now. I am wondering if anyone that has a heat pump would tell me some pros and cons about using them for cooling and heating.
Thanks!
