Wow you got some great answers!

You should take the BEST songs that each of us provide. Ok, I grew up in the 80's, so here are some classics too;

"I Feel For You"--Chaka Khan
"I Wanna Be Your Lover"--Prince
"When Doves Cry"--Prince
"Rasberry Beret"--Prince
"Wake Me up before you Go-Go"--Wham
"All Night Long"--Lionel Ritchie
"Dancing on the Cieling"--Lionel Ritchie
"Karma-Kameleon"--Boy George
"Jump"--Van Halen
"Sweet Dreams"--Eurythmics
"Let's Dance"--David Bowie
"Wild Boys"--Duran Duran
"Hungry Like a Wolf"--Duran Duran
"We Got the Beat" Go-Go's
"What Have you Done for Me Lately"--Janet Jacskon
"Nasty Boys"--Janet Jackson
"Rhythym of the Night"--Debarge
"Somebody's Watching Me"--Micheal Jackson
"Billie Jean, Thriller, The Girl is Mine, Bad, Beat It"--Micheal Jackson
"Fat" & "Eat It"--Weird Al Yankovich (you gotta have Weird Al!)

some classic rap songs:
"You Gotta Fight for Your Right to Party"-Bestie Boys
"I Need Love"--LL Cool J
"I'm Bad"--LL Cool J
"You Got What I Need/Say he's Just a Friend"--Biz Markie
"King of Rock"--Run DMC
"Rock the Bells"--Run DMC
"Shake Your Thang"--Salt N Pepa
"Roxanne Roxanne"--UTFO
"The Freaks Come out at Night"--Whoodini
(make sure you do the "cabbage patch" dance &
the wop" to all those songs--if you remember how to do them.)

Classic Rock songs

"Dr Feel Good"--Motley Crue
"Girls, Girls, Girls"--Motley Crue
"Hot for Teacher"--Van Halen
"Sweet Child o Mine"--Guns N Roses
"Welcome to the Jungle"--Motley Crue
"Pour Some Sugar on Me"--Def Leopard
"Livin on a Prayer"--Bon Jovi

Cheesy but good songs ones you can wig-out to:

"I Think We're Alone Now"--Tiffany (make sure you do that Tiffany hand dance when it comes on)

"Shake Your Love"--Debbie Gibson
"Candy Girl"--New Edition
"My Secret"--New Edition
"Pocorn Love"--New Edition
"Footloose"--Kenny Rogers

Slow songs:

"Time After Time"--Cindy Lauper
"Everybody Wants to Rule The World"--Tears for Fears
"Hello"--Lionel Ritchie (make sure you close your eyes and feel someone's face like the blind girl did in the music video)

"Careless Whisper"--Wham
"Lets Wait a While"--Janet Jackson
"Lost in Love"--New Edition (cheesy but good)
"Is this The End"--New Edition (cheesy but good)
"Islands in the Stream"--Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton
"Whats Love got to Do With It"--Tina Turner
"Sexual Healing"--Marvin Gaye

Ok--you should have a GREAT party--and tell everyone to dress like the 80's :) Oh, I wish I could come! I'd wear my big hair, leggings with big socks, and oversized sweater and look absoluley ridiculus and have so much fun :)

Have a blast, and remember--no dancing on the cieling!!
