My father broke his ankle in 3 places last fall and had to have screws to repair it. It will still bother him if hes on it for long periods of time. Hes almost 60 and I think hes got arthritis in it now. He is a carpenter by trade and has to be on his feet everyday. Does anyone know if infered heat will help him get some relief? Or any other suggestions? He does take meds for his heart and for cholesterol too. So yes, hes already on asprin.

When they have to take iron 3x daily, eat well, iron tests come back as improving, then they're taken off the iron and immediately get sick again. What is usually found during the endoscopy in such a case? Please tell me it's not something like cancer.

Ive found a travel agent that is sympathetic to my dietary needs. YEAH! Now were having a hard time deciding where to go (our anniversary is in march)

An all inclusive cruise to a warmer climate: mexico, south america, bahamas.

A BEAUTIFUL B&B about 2 hours from where were going to be living, but they want $295-$350 a night.

Hubby has mentioned he would be more in favor of staying of staying closer to home because of our children. I want to go on the cruise because it's something different, and we don't have to pay extra for our food, plus we would be paying more if we stayed at the B&B. My brother and his wife are going to take care of the kids. So we know they will be well taken care of. What should we do?

Opinions are greatly appreciated.

If you heard about Ellen's fight with a dog she adopted, What is your take on it. She adopted a small dog that didn't get along with her cat, & she gave it to her hairdresser. When the agency found out, they took the dog back. The family is devasted. They loved the dog. I didn't know this law existed. Now I'm torn. I know Ellen wouldn't give a dog to just anyone, she knew this family very well. So What would you do? Thanks for the input

unfortunatly I have a couple of friends who live on a council estate (dont ask why)
With Xmas approaching and thoughts turning to presents, I was wondering what I could buy them. At first I thought maybe a crate of special brew or a £10 Primark voucher but I thought maybe these people prefer other things. Does anyone know if Tattooists do gift vouchers?
Please give me some other ideas for what I can give them.
