let us put it the other way around...let's say your the mother and your daughter is in-love with a guy that you don't like. and now she is ignoring you as well because she knows you don't like the guy. what would you fell? isn't it more nice if you think of ways to reverse your parents thinking about the guy and like wise tell the guy to think of ways to get closer to your parents. in the end,it's your parents blessing that's the best gift of all.

I have that same problem. Except you might be a little older. I mean, if you love him- you love him. There's nobody telling you that you can't love him, or that you have to stop. Even your parents. Your parents aren't always going to be able to control you & if they will, then there are so many ways around that. Parents will never understand.

do what feels right to you and don't worry about other people. If you really love the guy then your parents will have to accept that. Because your happiness is what is most important to them at the end of the day.

hmm... tough one. I'd say you talk to your parents to see what's bothering them about your boyfriend. Then see if there is anything for you to be worried about. Also, you should tell your parents to give this guy a chance and get to know him better. Usually parents are concerned cos they don't wanna see you get hurt....

just prove to her parents that he deserves the girl by being a good gentleman, that they love each other and the girl must be a good daughter to her parents and ask them to give him a chance.

If you're under 18, your parents still have control over who you date-they're just being protective, otherwise talk to them, ask them why.

You ignore your parents. If you love him and he loves you too then don't let your parents ruin it all.
