I have a 6-month CD going from 08/23/2007 to 02/23/2008. I was wondering if I have to report the interest earned as of 12/31/2007 when I file my taxes for year 2007 or CD has to come to an end, which is 02/23/2008 and then report the whole CD earned interest for income year 2008. Please help?

In my high school the only electives that were available were tennis and softball..I chose softball because I hate tennis..the problem is that I didn't even knew what softball was. I never heard of it...I'm afraid of going to the class and being stuck with a bunch girls. Plus they won't let me change it cause I already changed it 2 times!....do mostly girls play softball?..is it a girl sport?..If it is SH.IT i wanna change it...but my couselour will gat pissed off at me, he chnged my schdule 2 times already..last time he was a bit pissed.

I pick up my RX tomorrow AM, hence the urgency on this; I need to let the drugstore know my preference! 500 mg. is the pill dosage. The pharmacist was very vague when I asked; he said "Oh, the brand (non-generic) is about twice as strong". That just doesn't sound right to me. Your help is urgently needed and my thanks in advance!

I have not been employed this year and I recently became certified to do home daycare through the state. It is already mid-september and if I do not get any children to take care of by the end of December can I still claim all the things I bought for the daycare? I have probably spent around $500 on things needed for it and I know I could get that all back on my taxes, but can I still if I do not end up with any kids to watch by 12-31 since I wouldn't have any income?

I bought a dress last year for homecoming and a couple people suggested I wear it to a wedding next month. I am just a little concerned that it is to flashy and not wedding appropriate. I will be going with my friend and do not know anything about the wedding other than the date.

The only big differences are mine has regular straps of about an inch in width instead of being a halter. Also my dress is teal.

Would this be appropriate or should I consider something else? Thanks in advance!!!

Do you value the security of gvmt planning your retirement, your health care, your financial future, or would you rather take life on and do these things for yourself and see how much you can accomplish in life?

I personally don't think so, but I believe the reason some christians are economically successful and some aren't is because God won't allow someone to accquire a lot of material wealth if He knows it will be a hinderence to his/her faith. If you can manage to have riches and not put them before God, it is okay, but anyone would contend, that's very hard to do.

Do agree with this, or do you have a different stance?

I'm asking this on behalf of my mom. My father and her divorced. For whatever reason she got to keep the Boat, but my dad had a loan out on it- that he took to pay off some credit card bills. Well now that he is remarried and other stuff- he and his current wife are out to get my mom any way they can- so they haven't been paying the boat loan and now today the repo guy showed up saying his work order showed that my mom had volunatirly called and said they could come take the boat. My mom told the guy she was sorry- but that she never called and the guy left. Obviously my mom doesnt care if my dad f***s his credit up getting it repo'd.. but he left the boat with her for us kids to use and knows hes doing it to be a dick and be mean to her.. What can she do? And what rights do repo men have if they come to your house?

I won't call him out by name, but some Yankees fan was explaining that Jeter's poor range factor is due to injuries or this or that and that it is subjective.
Let's see--you watch a couple of highlight films and decide if a player has good range or not.
Or you look at number which compare him to others at his position.
Sure, the ratio of groundballs and such will vary, but it means it's not a perfect fielding stat.
But subjective? How uninformed are some people here, anyway.

I recently went through a terrible and bitter divorce and my ex husband ended up with everything and I do mean everything the house, cars and children. I was so mentally and physcially beat down by the time he was ready to divorce me I had no fight in me. He had gotten a 83,000.00 settlement and paid an attorney about 60,000.00 to hurt me and take everything. I found out that after he fought so hard to take my home from me that he had to sell it because he had spent all his money on attorneys fees. How do I explain to my children why they had to move from a 2,250 square ft house to a 1,000 square ft house? I pay him child support and now my attorney wants to take him to court for full custody. Should I be as mean as him? My kids don't want to live with him but I do want to get along with him eventhough he slams the door in my face every chance he gets. He and his sister talk really bad about me to my kids and they are starting to resent him for it what should I do to recover?

Haven't used the heat of course all summer but today was a bit chilly and I decided to turn on the heat. Well, after it was on for like 5 minutes I started smelling this nasty smell not like gas or anything alarming like that...but almost like ammonia. I moved into this house in February and had the heater on then and I remember smelling something then too....Is there something I can do to clean out the vents?
