Boy, does that ever bring back bad memories. I was going
to pick up a friend. The road was very dark and I felt a thud
and in my rear view mirror I saw a black cat flying through
the air. I pulled over and tried to find the cat and also who
it belonged to. I finally found the cat---it was hiding behind a
tree and hissing at me. My hubby said if you had hit me--I'd
be hissing, too. I was a little hysterical--I confess I cried and
laughed when recounting it. It was like seeing the cartoon
cats flying through the air. It took a long time to get over it
because animals are precious pets to someone.

Yeah,I was 16 and had only gotten my license the week before. Nobody said anything about that when I was getting lessons. Watch out for kids! Watch out for seniors! Nobody mentioned the way little animals go scurrying across a street. It was a cat and I felt just awful, didn't drive for a week.

No. I have broken a ball joint on my car avoiding a cat once. Turned into the curb way to fast and broke the lower arm right off. I think the cat laughed at me.
