Sry I am in the wrong category, but I reallly love this one! This boy I like, who also likes me, told me today that If I asked him out he would say yes! He has also asked me to be his date to Homecoming and he is always mentioning how much he likes me. Should I wait for him to say something about it in the future, or ask him?

hey little ones, pro wrestling is a show....kayfabe, an act. Not
50/50...75/25....or anything else, a show. You cannot hit someone with a sledgehammer, run them into a steel post, etc
without damage. sure things go wrong, ex marty jannetty didn't
hit his mark right & broke a guys neck...but its still an act. heck
sometimes stunts go wrong on movie sets, but its still acting!..
and no, i'm not just some jealous looney,....my brother and i both wrestled and promoted.....some time ago, though!

The only cow in a small town in Poland stopped giving milk. The people did some research and found that they could buy a cow from Moscow for 2,000 rubles, or one from Minsk for 1,000 rubles. Being frugal, they bought the cow from Minsk.

The cow was wonderful. It produced lots of milk all the time, and the people were amazed and very happy. They decided to acquire a bull to mate with the cow and produce more cows like it. Then they would never have to worry about the milk supply again.

They bought a bull and put it in the pasture with their beloved cow. However, whenever the bull came close to the cow, the cow would move away. No matter what approach the bull tried, the cow would move away from the bull and he could not succeed in his quest.

The people were very upset and decided to ask their wise rabbi, what to do. They told the rabbi what was happening. "Whenever the bull approaches our cow, she moves away. If he approaches from the back, she moves forward.

When he approaches her from the front, she backs off. An approach from the side and she just walks away to the other side."

The rabbi thought about this for a minute and asked, "Did you buy this cow from Minsk?"

The people were dumbfounded, since they had never mentioned where they had gotten the cow. "You are truly a wise rabbi," they said.

"How did you know we got the cow from Minsk?"

The rabbi answered sadly, "My wife is from Minsk."

I was steered toward Christianity by my grandma, later I studied Wicca and Paganism, but I never felt connected to either like I thought I should be. I read the first half of the first Rig-Veda, I've read a little about ceremonial magick, and stuff like that, but the story's the same. Nothing has really clicked to make me say, "This is me." If there is a creator and s/he/it made a religion for me, it'll come my way, right? If no creator exists, I don't need to search painstakingly, right? What do you guys think? All opinions are welcome, but please be polite.

Seems like anyone who tries to act professional gets pushed aside if they aren't spewing out pre ordained lies. Look at how Colin Powell had to act, now it's Petreaus' turn.

Ayn Rand once stated that early in her philosophical career, she admired the existential ideas of Friedrich Nietzsche. But she soon began to diverge from his ideas when she postulated the importance of reason over Nietzsche's reckless adherence to passion. While she did recognize ambitions and innate emotions as intuitive indicators of one's values, she regarded our conscious reasoning skills and logic as being more reliable.

So my question is, in your humble opinion, is it better to live life with the blind existential passion proclaimed by Nietzsche, Sartre, Camus and others, much like a Byronic hero? Or is it better live, while still ambitiously, with calculating reason and with reverence for values that are not necessarily and wholly subjective, as in Rand's Objectivism?
