No wonder these traitors hate her.

I don't hate her and never have. I basically ignored her as a mother who should have been allowed to process her grief privately (but was exploited by the leftists and the media).

I noticed lately, however, that the left has decided they no longer need her help.

Sheehan is a self-aggrandizing loser her used her brave son's death as a tool to get her attention. We see this all the time with people in our society. She had other problems and her son's deathh just made things worse for her. She has made some of the most outlndish statements and her little orgabnization in Texas got in trouble for perceived financial misdeeds. She is the Madeline Murray Ohare of the anti-war movement. And "moral authority" is nonsense.

She lost her son, and for that I am truly sorry. I won't even pretend to know what that would feel like. But she has allowed herself to become a puppet for liberal and anti-war groups. I honestly think that she has dishonored her sons memory by allowing herself to be used for that purpose. Completely against what her son fought and died for. He was a patriot. My parents know that I fight for my country because I feel it is the right thing to do. I would expect them to respect my way of thinking even if I were to die in combat, and not dishonor my service. I deserve at least that much respect. And on a side note, most of the men I served with in Iraq, including my buddies who were killed or injured were conservatives themselves. As are most service members in general. Get your facts straight.

Yes, she did. Any mother and father has sacraficed more than any liberal or conservative has when their son or daughter dies from a war... Politics are easily forgotten when the loss is personal. We need to remind ourselves of this when we attack the victims of war or terrorism... when these people act politically then if we disagree with them then we should refrain from personal attacks on their character.

At the same time not all conservatives "hate" her or even wish her ill-will... she is an American voicing her loss and frustration; no one has to agree with the way she does it though.

Casey Sheehan volunteered for his second tour in Iraq, doesn't his sacrifice count? Has anyone ever seen Casey's correspondence from Iraq to his mother? Do you wonder why she doesn't make them public?

Cindy Sheehan was arrested today at the Petreaus meeting along with 3 other people for walking in where they were, she loved her son and Bush want talk to her. She is a brave woman lost, her son, husband and home but still carries on wanting BUSH TO TELL HER WHY HER SON DIED IN VAIN.

Maybe if retarded libs would STFU instead of creating the division against winning this war that the terrorists are counting on, this war wouldn't go on and less will die. Terrorists count on libs to whine about us being there. If we were all 100% for getting the job done, terrorists would know they have no chance and wouldn't drag it out.

Cindy Sheehan lost all credibility and respect the moment she referred to the terrorists as "freedom fighters."
This implies that her son was fighting to take freedom away from the Iraqi people.

A lot of conservative parents that lost their children would disagree with you. I am one of the lucky ones whose son came back alive. We don't hate her, we despite her for using the death of her son to advance her agenda. Her own family has distanced themselves from her. Wake up and smell the dirt!
PS Cindy Sheehan did not sacrifice her son. Her son sacrificed himself so his ungrateful mother could speak with out fear of loosing her head (literally)
