I went to Circuit City and gave the cashier my AmEx card and he looked all surprised. Then he asked what kind of work I do... after hesitating for a minute, I told him... And I asked why he wanted to know, and he replied that he wants to know what kind of work he should be doing instead of working at circuit city .......since AmEx only approves people with good credit... is it true that you need good credit for an AmEx card? I've never heard of this before...

Im looking at a springfield xd 9mm service, a glock 17, and a taurus pt92. i like the springfield and glock a little better because of the accessories which come with them, but the taurus is about 150 cheaper. which do you recommend and why? what does the taurus come with?

Have you ever had someone try to knock you down but you see right through them and you realize it's their own envy & insecurity making them try to tear you apart? Because they are so small (minded if not bodied!) and they recognize your greatness? Because you have so much potential & they have none?

Have you ever had a moment of clarity when you recognize a bully for the coward he/she is?

Have you ever just smiled, shaken your head and thought "Oh well, sucks to be you..."?

:)

& isn't it a great feeling when you don't care anymore? When their cruelty bounces off of you because you like who you are and they obviously don't like who they are or they wouldn't have to attack you?

ie: speaking out about katrina, abused children, st. jude's children's hospital, etc.

basically, i'm looking for someone high profile that just seems like it's beneath them to make the world a better place BUT IF THEY SPEAK OUT, PEOPLE WILL LISTEN AND CHIP IN.

I come from a athetist family who believe religion was an evil brain washing cult which i think until recently i also believed. I am not very happy at the moment doing things that well i shouldnt be and something is telling me to turn to god. When I met my boyfriend almost 2 years ago he smoked pot a lot, i didn't like it and he was doing it for the wrong reasons. I cared about him and he was slowly killing himself. (His dad left his family for another woman and it was a big deal) He went through depression and i helped him. I told him that I had smoked pot once (which was a lie) and that i didnt like it and it caused a lot of my close friends to have serious medical problems (which is true) I only lied b/c i care about him and his health. Now today that he's quite, and has been clean for a year and a half and is now in college doing great and has a successful job..i dont know how to tell him i lied...

it hurts...
