The original TT (1998 - 2006) had the following dimensions:
Length: 4041mm
Width: 1764mm (excluding mirrors)
Height: 1345mm
Wheelbase: 2422mm
Front track: 1528mm
Rear track: 1505mm
There were slight variations in height, wheelbase and track for the different versions, due to differences in the suspension.
The current TT (from 2006) has the following dimensions:
Length: 4178mm
Width: 1842mm (excluding mirrors)
Height: 1352mm
Wheelbase: 2468mm
Front track: 1572mm
Rear track: 1558mm

I've bought a new model TT coupe and although it remains relatively compact it is slightly larger all round than my previous TT. However, it has a presence for a small coupe.
