because they're "all into themselves" and nothing else matters to them except their celebrity status?
ie: speaking out about katrina, abused children, st. jude's children's hospital, etc.
basically, i'm looking for someone high profile that just seems like it's beneath them to make the world a better place BUT IF THEY SPEAK OUT, PEOPLE WILL LISTEN AND CHIP IN.

That required some thinking! First , if someone is so egotistical, why would anyone take them that serious. I would be thinking, yeah but what's you ulterior motive behind this. Oprah, Trump, Brad and Angelina, etc, etc, came to mind, but they are already doing their thing. So I dismissed them. Then I thought about who the general population in America seemed to like regardless, and i came up with the cast of "Friends". If they united together for one cause I think America would be totally supportive.

Howard Stern would be the only one all the other celebraties and high and mighty ******* thats too good for us or think they are,could help out and as far as katrina 2 yrs ago,the Mayor was begging for help and the FEMA Director he could have careless about New Orleans,and Dr.Phil he is way to busy to help,he can't even leave the camera alone just long enough to help poeple except for the ones he has on his show,and Oprah is on the edge of a nervous breakdown and the other buttwipes don't give a flying pigs eye.

my first thought was Jerry Lewis, he was the best........ then i thought Oprah, she's too busy with her girls school maybe; that is a wonderful thing she has done, i don't know; maybe Dr. Phil; i was gonna say bush but that's a total wash....maybe if some of our government officials; that are running for offices in the coming future; would use some of there campaign money and actually do something to fix this stuff instead of going around expressing what a great job they will do if elected; show us instead of making empty promises, that would work! they need to stop blowing smoke up our ends!....i'm rambling...âº

i really hate to say it, but probably howard stern. he has
millions of fans, and get could get the word out rather
quickly. i think alot of people would listen to him.
