Hi, just got a bill for installation of two new electric sockets, one which was underneath a worktop and one inside big kitchen cupboard. The work took just under an hour and i have been charged £176.25 for this....I phoned another electrician when i got this bill and they quoted about £40. Is there anyone out there with knowledge of this and how much you would consider reasonable???

Im asking this partially because I have no idea what to tell my 4 and 5 year old sons regarding their uncle who has passed. I cant very well say he went to heaven because they dont know heaven. The previous wearer of my daughter's soccer uniform didn't wash it before turning it in to the school last year. Now I'm faced with a filthy uniform. It has sweat, mud and grass stains on it. I have used bleach (not recommended for the fabric), Shout, and a detergent paste. It is less noticable, but still dirty. Help!

What matters is that his received a plurality of the total vote.
Counties are nothing more that administrative districts of the state.
ONE MAN ONE VOTE: Just because a lot of people live in cities, that is no reason to try to diminish their vote!
And yes Bush did win the popular vote (In '04 not '00), and to me that's what really matters. The Electoral College Sucks.

We are installing ceramic tile on a substrate that has some adhesive residue, carpet was glued to a contrete floor. The carpet has been removed but there is still some adhesive residue on the concrete. Is it necessary to scrape off the adhesive before applying thinset? Will the tiles lift if we dont?

I've been on the shot for about 6 months now. My last injection was May 18, 2007 and I was supposed to go back for my 3rd injection on August 10, 2007 but never went since my husband and I are trying to conceive :) I've bled the whole 6 months I was on the shot, whether it was bleeding or spotting, with the exception of maybe a week or two (after the first shot) without any bleeding at all. A couple days ago, the bleeding stopped completely and yesterday I noticed I started bleeding again. Could that be my regular period or just the shot wearing off? Also, for those of you who was on the shot for UNDER a year, how long did it take your to get pregnant, if you did? I heard/read horror stories about women not being able to conceive or miscarriages but most of them were on the shot for 5+ years. Could that happen to me too? Thanks!
