It was not the garden that sent Satan to Hell, it was when he believed he was as great as God, and got other angels to follow him. That was when God sent him out of Heaven into Hell

Let's see.
The ancient meaning for the word serpent is mischievous child.
Could that mean that the serpent wasn't actually a snake, as many falsely believes?
Wouldn't a baby or even a child be the most subtle of men?
Lets see. Adam cling to Eve, as his wife. The two became one flesh.
How does a husband and wife become one flesh?
That's right, through the birth of their child.
Let's see. When a husband and wife has a child. He can see himself in the child. She can see herself in the child. They both can see each other in the child. That would mean the obvious. The two of them have become one in the child.
Why would the bible talk about Adam and Eve becoming one flesh, then all of a sudden, from out of no where, the bible starts talking about a serpent (mischievous child), that can talk and walk?
What is a mischievous child? Is it not someone who does things that they shouldn't be doing? You know, thinks like trick people.
The bible says that Eve was Adam's wife and the two clinged together to become one flesh.
Does not a man and woman cling to each other during sex? Do they not become one flesh through their child?
Is it not possible for God to forgive the mischievous (serpent) child of Adam and Eve?
Anyway. Satan is a name. Not the serpent's name as many falsely believes.

God (Heavenly Father) can't forgive Satan and it isn't the garden thing that doesn't allow the forgiveness. During the "Great Counsel" in Heaven, Lucifer decided that he would be the one to return all the souls back to God. He wanted all the glory and that is what got him and 1/3 of the host in Heaven thrown out of God's Kingdom. Lucifer rebelled seeking to take over Heaven, but summarily defeated in the "War in Heaven." Now known as Satan, he came in the guise of a snake to tempt Eve to partake of the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil." Unknown to Satan, this was part of the plan that Heavenly Father had put into place. We are not bound to the sin of Adam and Eve. I believe it is in Jeremiah that God actually did away with the aspect of a sin following 4 generations for the Israelites were abusing it. This also means that Adams sin is not on a child when born or even before that. We are not born into sin. Remember, God is a righteous individual and why would he continue cursing children that has no idea or concept of what sin is. In order to know we have done something bad and are prone to dire consequences, we have to have that knowledge. I don't think that a child of birth has that capacity and thought. Not until they are of the age where that knowledge comes into play.
I remember a story of young mother who had lost her child and had not had the child baptized as her beliefs required. Another woman told that young mother that, "the walls of Satan are lined with the skulls of unbaptized children." This in my opinion was not only untactful, but was also the most evil belief that anyone could come up with. I believe that children who pass before the age of accountability are welcomed back into the arms of their Heavenly Father. What sounds more beautiful, being with God as a child, passing before the knowing the concept of sin or the belief of spending forever in Hell with Satan because the child was not baptized?
And those that don't believe in God, your snide remarks will not endear you to anyone. This is a question about the belief in God and the Adversary. I do not care if you don't believe in a supreme being. This forum is for opinions, not crass remarks. This is also my opinion.
By the way quaver, if Adam and Eve were not forgiven, how was Adam later on able to talk to God face to face. That has to mean that he was forgiven, because he still believed in the plan of salvation.

Hello Good will. Good questions for the religious community.
God gave Lucifer a chance to repent of his sins before he was cast out of heaven. He would not repent. His final fate has already been sealed. His final destiny has already been decided. He will be destroyed in the final executive phase of God's fiery judgment upon the wicked. Here are key references to note:
Revelations 20: 9-10
Isaiah 14: 12-15
There was a time before his transformation into a serpent(cursed) that Lucifer was a dazzle ling creature upon the earth.
Have faith dear friends in God.

Genesis the third chapter.
14) The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you will go, And dust you will eat All the days of your life;
15) He cursed the serpent and said, 'And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel." He also said that he would be doomed to crawl in the dust for all eternity
Um, nope, I would say not, he was cursed for ETERNITY!

There is no forgivness that will ever apply to Satan. He has commited the impardonable sin and he himself has blaspheme the Holy Spirit of God in which there is never no forgivness in this life nor in the life to come and the same applies even to humans, if they too commit this sin, they will split hell wide open and never again see the light of day but only flames throughout eternity, along with their father, the Devil.

Satan and his demons as well as Adam and Eve can not be forgiven because they were created perfect and yet turned away from God. The rest of mankind receive forgiveness through the ransom sacrifice of Christ's death; Christ having been a perfect human.

If he's God then yes...I believe there is some part in the Bible that explains how everything is suppose to be reverted back to the way things were (6000 years in total - 2000 since Jesus came). So basically, we exist now spiritually stillborn to see how a world devoid of spirituality is damaging to us.

I dunno, God's been known to hold a grudge. Remember the whole "flood thing?" How about the "tower of babel thing?"
Edit: I think what chippy is referring to is that the snake's punishment was that he would have to crawl on his belly. This implies that it was capable of walking. Genesis 3:14
"And the LORD God said unto the serpent,
Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life."
