I was wondering if my boyfriend was really serious when he said he doesn't know how to do those things. My answer to this would be, to realize and show the other that you appreciate what they do. Hug and kiss them like you miss them when you see them, Be symphathetic towards their feelings. When they are sad, comfort them. Ask them how their day was, Call out of the blue just to tell them that you love them. Write a love note and leave it in their car or on the bathroom sink. And sometimes its just as simple as doing what they do for you that lets you know they care. Good luck!

Everyone is different and different things really make them feel loved. I show people I love them by doing things for them. But I know my husband feels most loved through physical contact. You should read the 5 love languages and determine how to make whatever person you are seeking to show love that you love them, or see what makes you feel loved. Follow the link and it might help you

Thank them and tell them you appreciate them and the things they do. Hug them, kiss them and tell them you love them often. Smile at them when they come into the room or through the door. Look them in the eyes when you are talking to them or they are talking to you. Be a good listener. Listening is 85% and talking is 15% of good communication. Do things without being asked to, without mopeing about it.

well yes actions always work better than words...draw him a nice hot bath and give him a very well cleaning head to to toe..and then get some message oil and give him and very nice rub down from head to toe that sure works for me and it feels so good..just give him all the attention and loving he will appreciate it and know that he is special.

I perform the act of saying "I love you"
Saying something is by definition an action, so is writing something, typing something, or any other form of creating words.

It depends on what kind of person they are. Some affectionate people only need to be given a hug everyday (or several times a day) to feel appreciated. If the person isn't so touchy feely, you have to look at what makes them tick..... what they like, what they don't like. Do little special things for them.

Yes they do. It's more powerful when words are backed up by actions though. Currently, I try and do whatever he asks of me.

Show them by treating them good on a regular basis and by showing them appreciation for the things they do for you. They should treat you the same way.
