I'm not sure. I have a feeling it should be the Who because as much as I think the Beatles are the greatest rock band of all time, no one can show the laymen what rock really means like the Who. I think it would have to be Who's Next.
If I had to do it in one song though I think it would be My Generation.

Index and Pinky raised, the other fingers curled as a fist. This gesture originated in Italy and has nothing to do with the Devil. When pointed at an Italian man, it is a curse which means "your wife is cheating on you" when pointed up, it is the counter to the curse. and it also means Rock On. it is not a devil worship gesture, as so many misinformed people think. Ronnie James Dio remembered his Grandmother telling him about it and is credited with the origination of the gesture as a heavy metal icon.

Look at all the people saying Led Zepplin, I can tell you right now that I can gaurentee you about half of those people have heard 5 songs tops. I would say Back in Black by ACDC because well, they sound good even though imo its overated.
