My boyfriend's father talks without any thought to his words whatsoever. He interrupts, talks over people and he asks the same questions over and over again - mostly because he doesn't stop long enough to hear the answers. If I get annoyed, I'm told to "be patient - he's old."
He's 72. He's got all his wits about him, he's no dottering fool. So, why is it OK for him to yammer on and on?

I am scared to reunite with my ex-husband who lives in another state. We divorced a few years ago and have a 15 year old daughter. He has sole physical and legal custody, but has now sent her to me.

He says that I want to keep my feet in two places - my parents house and our house. I am not committed or loyal in his mind. I have left him many times and gone back many times over the past few years.

I have to make a decision soon since it will mean moving for my daughter and myself.

My daughter is in a lot of pain and keeps saying "I wish that I had never been born."

I want my daughter's life to be better than it has been. She has not had a good childhood.

Yet, I don't know if I can deal with my ex-husband again and his controlling ways. He was upset with me for not working on the transition/ move this past weekend.

How do I make decision that please everyone - my daughter and ex-husband and myself.

My parents think I should not get back together.

...else feel like you could just rough it out for the rest of your life like grow all of your own food, no electricity, nothing you don't need? Wouldn't that be fun!?! Why does eveyone feel like you have to have a career, nice car, nice home, all that stuff? It would be so cool to just throw all of that away, and just be natural!

Haven't they heard of Spain? Do they think the white skin is caused by a skin disease or something *sigh*? Or do some Americans don't want to admit or are upset that their ancestors came from the same continent as the continent that invented the Spanish language (Europe). Spanish was created in Spain and brought to the Americas during the colonization days!!!!

Why do some people refuse to believe that SOME Hispanics have European ancestors?

I am asking because I am a disgruntled customer. I went there yesterday to purchase a table and one of the employees brought it up to one of the registers while I finished shopping. I went to check out and told the cashier that it was waiting for me at another register on a flat bed cart. The employee in charge of the front end had to call furniture to move it from one register to another. There were three employees standing around doing nothing so I went to get it myself and then I got yelled at when I was halfway back to the register "you can't do that", not let me help you. So I walked out and said I would make my purchase somewhere else.

Our garden area near the outside door has a problem this year with millipedes. We have it under control with insect spray and they die off quickly. The problem is that dead millipedes (we are talking hundreds or thousands) give off a strong disgusting odor. Does anyone know of a chemical etc. that we could put in the garden to neutralize the odor. We do not have the time to daily dig up (damage the flowers etc.) and bury hundreds of dead millipedes.

Who's to blame for this collapse? Ned Colletti was getting all the credit for being the anti-Depodesta, but apparently his methods are no better. He gave $9m a year to Juan Pierre and his .316 OBP, signed a quickly declining Nomar, and traded for the 5.20 ERA Mark Hendrickson. Maybe he's not the savior?

Little is reminding everyone why Boston fired him. He can't seem to motivate the troops, and his "old school" approach seems to be failing him.

So, who should go?
