When U.S. commanders and U.S. soldiers pray before going out into the field of battle, they sometimes pray for victory in the battlefield and for safety of the troops.

When the enemies pray, he prays for the same thing against us.

Tell me, are we (The US and the enemy) praying to the same GOD?

If yes, then who does GOD favor, us or them?
If we pray to different GODS, then why not leave the humans out of it, and let the GODS square up and fight once and for all, and decide who is the better GOD.

It will certainly save millions of lives lost through conflict.

How does depression affect a relationship? Do you find it difficult to communicate with the people in your life that you love the most, and find yourself cutting them out of your life? More specifically, have you had to end a relationship because of it, but couldn't bring yourself to communicate any further with that person even if they were offering support and help?? I've found myself in this situation, and don't know what to do to help him. I'm trying to be a friend to him, but he's not very responsive to me and I don't know if I should leave him be or keep offering support and letting him know I am there so he knows that I haven't abandoned him. I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out his unresponsiveness. He doesn't seem to want anything to do with me

That is rediculous! They took off the In God We Trust off the face of the new 1 dollar coin. If you hppen to get one of theses coins while shopping refuse it and ask for a dollar bill instead. I was teaching a class the other day when one of the students pantsed me in the hall. My 'junk' was only showing for a fraction of a second. I lost my temper with the young girl who did it and slapped her lightly across the face. She said she won't press charges but I have to issue a formal apology which I refuse to do. Three men were sent to hell.

The devil said to them "You have come to hell, and you must now choose whether to spend eternity in room 1, 2 or 3"

He then opened the doors to the three rooms.

Room 1 was filled with men standing on their heads, on a hard wooden floor.

Room 2 was filled with men standing on the heads, on a cement floor.

Finally, room 3 had just a few men, standing in **** up to their knees and drinking coffee.

The men thought for a while, and decided to go with room 3, as it was less crowded and they could drink coffee.

They entered the door to room 3 and just as it was closing behind them, the devil said "OK men, coffee break's over. Back on your heads."

I mean come on people. Why do you have to ask such (I'm sorry to sound judgmental) stupid questions. I really got on this forum to LEARN new things but it seems to me that people are just trying to beat each other's beliefs up.

Why can't we just live and let live and ask questions that we genuinely want to know the answers to? What is the purpose of bashing each other with our mean spirited questions?

But my question is, they have arrested 2 people so far, and one is a teenager and the other is an undocumented worker(illegal alien). Will the teenager be eligible for the death penalty since they are trying to try him as an adult. I know they will most likely pursue the death penalty against the illegal immigrant since the crime was gruesome and he committed another felony while killing them, but don't you think that this is the main reason why people are against illegal aliens, because the high rate of crime SOME of them committ.

Okay, this is a very bizarre situation. My grandparents purchased a house on a very large property (six acres) in the 1960s. In the 1980's the property was subdivided and one acre was given to my parents to build their house on. The driveway that goes to our house branches off of the orginal one that leads to my grandparents house. Now, my grandparents are moving, and when we were looking at the property drawings we discovered that the entire driveway up to my grandparents house is actually on my parents property. This never posed a problem because we were all family, but new owners will be moving into my grandparents house soon. So, do my parents have the right to tell the new owners that they have to build themselves a new driveway? My parents are not trying to be difficult, but they do not want to be held responsible in case any accidents occur on the driveway.
