FINALLY!! someone else who thinks the same way!!! People get on here and ask an atheist something just so they can argue with them! And Atheists ask Christians the same stuff! They're not looking for an answer, they think they'r eright ans have to prove it. I'll admit I've done it a couple times, but I'm aware of it now and know EXACTLY where you're coming from.
So I'll be honest, yes, I'm guilty. I did realize earlier today that that is what most people are doing.
hence the reason I call this section a War Zone!
Besides, what's the point of defendin your faith? we shouldn't have to! Our lives should mirror Christ so that our lives defend our faith, not our lips!

the 1st question i could ask is why it contradicted different comparable experiments that confirmed the full opposite besides as those that confirmed that the sufferers who knew they have been being prayed for statistically did worse than those that did no longer. i could additionally prefer to appreciate (or ask approximately) the forms of sufferers that have been being prayed for and individuals that have been to no longer boot as though they have been chosen for comparable circumstances, i.e became the "prayed for" bothered by the flu collectively as the no longer "prayed for" group made up of terminal maximum cancers sufferers. (in the study i discussed, the sufferers have been all terminal). A 2d question could be did the two instruments receive an analogous scientific care, ideally, you're able to prefer to decide on one from the two communities that have been dealt with via an analogous medical doctors. i.e. given a collection of 1000 sufferers, the medical doctors in contact dealt with an analogous form of the two instruments. (and confident, this concern could be real for any test). ultimately, i could ask why those effects weren't revealed and who funded the learn. If the answer to investment became a collection like the Templeton Society, i could at recent suspect "affirmation bias" (to declare the least), and could extremely ask your self why a rigorous learn had no longer be revealed in a extreme effect, peer reviewed magazine. Edit: Why no longer actual cite the study which you're contrasting? Granted, with slightly artwork we could be waiting to hint them down via the authors names, it makes it extra durable to earnings and a stable citation could reference the easily article.

I've never asked a question on here that I wasn't serious about.. Or that I didn't ask for the purpose of learning something.

I agree. And then they vote for best answer some hate-filled nonsense answer that simply agreed with them.
Rather demonstrates both their need to learn, and the reasons why they don't and can't, doesn't it?
I see one seemingly sincere question in every 20 . . . which means there's 19 bad ones after yours.
Godspeed.

It is true what you mean..... basicly everybody is trying to defend their beliefs which I totally respect....... I do have my beliefs and the only thing I can tell from all this questions and answers that you are going to be reading.... is to take what you think that is going to help you in your life and what you think is not right just ignore it after all ....... is your life and you choose what you want to take......

hmm... most of my questions are either:
A. Me being seriously curious about a religion or religious view
B. Making a pointless post about Fridays, drinking, lunch or coffee b/c the "confrontational" questions have died out for at least 10 mins.

Good luck.
Keep in mind though there is a lot you can learn. You just have to weed through the junk.

Live and let live.
Yep I believe it too. Unfortunately some people just try to get on your nerves. Like a mosquito that keeps buzzing your ear.

But they _enjoy_ beating each other up! It's the one thing they can agree on! Do you wish to strip the joy from their lives?
