Say, I have a D-Link Router but a Belkin Wireless Adapter, wil this work with each other?

As long as your adapter is compatible with the same wireless protocol as the I.E.: 802.11A/B/G/N

Most newer routers are BG compatible
G is backwards compatible with B
Just check the manufacturers website to asure compatibility

Yes, it will work as long as you have your SSID (which is the name of your wireless network) and if you know if its secured...

Belkin is not such a great brand but DLINK will do...
