While I was dating my ex bf he loaned me money to pay off a few credit card bills. I am a student and got into a bind, as I have to pay for my own books, etc. The money loaned was less then $2,000. Each time I tried giving him money, he wouldn't accept it. I send a contract stating that I'd pay him back. After we broke up, I began sending him money every month, sometimes in the beginning of the month, sometimes at the end, nonetheless, he always received money each month. Then, there was a death in my family and I missed a month. I paid double the next. Despite the fact that I pay him every month, he has been harassing me, threatening me, saying that he will have my wages garnished. He also has been leaving me voicemails filled with foul language as well as emails. I even had my phone company change my number, which they did at no extra cost because they had flagged my account after I called and claimed I was being harassed. Can he sue me? He said he's going to take me to court.
