I am speaking of the war called.."the war on terror".

Ok, it seems never as in infinity is a popular choice. All previous military wars in history had a beginning and an end, civil war, spanish american war, ww1, ww2, korean war, Vietnam, etc..
So, this war on terror or perhaps war of terror is really a military war without end?
WOW !!!!! can we really do that? Fight a military war that will never end?

I'm thinking the answer, sadly, is never. We're never going to be able to stop crazy people from doing crazy things. We certainly aren't going to stop people from hating us by making more enemies all over the world. The "war on terror" has done nothing but spread more terror, death and hatred around the entire globe. Simply put, the war needs to stop. Only then will anyone "win."

Hard to say, we have to have the will to continue fighting for as long as it takes and "they" have to decide to stop fighting. Unfortunately, without a clearly defined enemy, winning requires each individual fighting us to determine that they will quit.
Please note that even today, by those standards the United States hasn't won the Mexican War from 1846, as there are many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans (legal and otherwise) who believe that the war was wrong and that the lands taken (purchased at a VERY cheap price at the barrel of a gun) should remain Mexican.
