You have a square, but on the top of the square you have a extra little edge. The measurements of the whole thing are 15ft by 15ft at the top where you have the extra part and the the rest of the square is 40ft by 50 ft. How would you find the area for this weird square?

I was just wondering what you think... I had an interview on Wednesday for a job at the gym and he said he would be contacting people at the latest friday afternoon.. and I never heard from him. Well thursday I had written a letter of appreciation and time. I also called to ask him to see if he had gotten the email since he hadn't responded to my last one a couple of weeks ago. Well he did get it and said he hadn't made any decisions yet and friday I emailed him again to follow up but he never answered me and so I called the gym and one of the girls at the front desk answered and I asked her if she knew if he hired anyone and she said she hadn't heard anything. Well do you think he could be waiting until monday to call/hire even though he said friday he would make a decision most likely?? Can you please give me any advice?

Obviously, one man cannot stop people from throwing him out when he tries to abuse him. But if there is a culture who is trained to think it's moral to submit to whatever claims to be an authority, then you have masses of men with guns who will kill anyone who tries to stop the dictator. I see marriage as something to do with religion, and should not have anything to do with government. My car insurance will give you a break if you're married, because apparently, married people are safer drivers.

Is this a violation? Am I being discriminated due to my lack of a religion? What if my religious beliefs (or lack thereof) dictate that I will never marry someone?

When General Relativity theory (GR) is mathematically mixed with equations for Quantum Mechanics (QMs), more often than not, infinities arise. Why? Could these infinities actually be useful information that is trying to communicate something significant about the laws governing nature? One has to wonder at just what point does GR breaks down when combining QMs? Is it at the atomic level, or on the order of molecules? Could it be that GR and QMs express the same information but in two different kinds of formats and, are just a duality of one another? If GR and QMs are just dualities with GR representing the large version of its duality, QMs; and, QMs representing the small version of its duality, GR, do we really even need to combine them to understand the forces in this universe? Could it be that GR and QMs are to each other what M-theory is to the 5 versions of string theory? The infinities may be telling us that we need to rethink our whole approach to GR/QMs unification.

A liberal feels it is ok for them to use their belief system to make decisions for the country. But conservatives must somehow not do the same.

When a liberal wants something, for the country, it is considered by them to be right and just. But when a conservative wants something, for the country, it is seen as dictating their beliefs on society.

Doesn't this seem like hypocrisy?
