Absolutely correct. In my earlier posted response I stated that ALL beliefs are a religion, even belief in atheism and humans evolving from apes.
Anyone forcing their personal belief system, or lack their of, down someone else throat is wrong. This is why pro-abortion types try to tie abortion to religion versus a human rights issue.

Both sides make demands and neither has all the answers. Compromise is what is necessary. When one is a radical, from either side, they don't consider the other side's views as being valuable at all. One side is no better or more right than the other. Unfortunately on YA we see radicals issuing challanges and others responding in kind. That does not bode well for compromise. In recent years the left has been more willing to compromise than the right. That will cost the right dearly in next year's elections.

All politics and religion are hypocrisy. Liberals impose their views when they are in power and the conservatives scream but not too loudly. Conservatives impose their views and the liberals scream loudly. Christians impose their views on Jews and finally people start to whimper. It took almost 2000 years. Muslims impose their views and Christians scream immediately. Humans are proof that God makes mistakes.

it works both ways.
when conservatives want to use their belief system, it's righteous and good. when liberals do it, it's either immoral or shortsighted.
everyone dictates their beliefs for society. but the real question is which beliefs are preferable?
as long as you acknowledge that some things are more effective than others, some things will be better than others.

conservatives base their beliefs in morals and common sense and many times the values that the bible teaches. liberals will have nothing to do with that, it holds them back, it suppresses their child like desires. that in return is seen by them as a restriction of their freedoms. they prefer to have a wide open society with no right or wrong, kill babies, man/boy relationships (aka NAMBLA), gay and lesbian marriages, unquestioned welfare, basically as much debauchery as they can get away with.

Usually the liberals want some kind of program for the so called poor and needy, and they push it down our throats, and try to raise our taxes to fund their whims. Conservatives lower taxes to produce more revenue, and implement stable programs to help everyone.

It is pure hypocrisy. It doesn't matter where one develops one's beliefs they are legitimate. If I developed mine in religion then those core value are just as valid as others' values that were developed in other places.

You don't seem to understand. Liberals are always right, no matter what. At least, that's what they will always tell you. That is what I've been told......and I always believe what I'm told.......(maniacal laughter).

It's hypocritical to bash liberals for something and to not bash conservatives when they do the same thing.
