I am having a bit of a debate with a raw-food guru whom I very much respect but who I think may be fudging the facts on a certain issue. Namely, he claims that if chimps (of any species) have an abundant supply of plant food, they will eat virtually no meat (either vertebrate or invertebrate).

Is this true, or will chimps and other largely herbivorous/frugivorous primates continue to eat meat when they have sufficient plant food in their habitats? Also, whatever your answer, what is your source?

My mom hates me.She treats my other siblings like their gods.She only makes me clean & buys only them things with money from my dad for me from child support(my sisters dont have the same father as me).Im 16 and have spent the last 3 summers babysitting & I dont get paid for it,& the funny thing is is that my mom doesnt even work.She goes out and doesnt tell me where shes going, so I have to stay home with my sisters to watch them.she talks bad about my father,she wont talk to me about my problems,and she treats my brothers girlfriend better then me.she wont ever go and pick up my friends that live close to me so I dont have to be lonely all the time.now shes trying to make me feel bad about breaking up with my bf she tells me I made a mistake and that he was good but he really wasnt.She sends me to my room & Im freaking 16 years old. theres much more mean things she does.I cant take it any more.I have thoughts about suicide.I dont know what to do anymore.Help.I feel like I am in jail.

Allright, there were 4 friends from school who met up one day, one of the men went off to the bathroom. So one man started about how succesful his son was. He said, "My son is so succesful. He works at Mercedes and had enough to give his friends a brand new Mercedes last week." The next man says, "Well my son is a contractor and he is so succesful that he gave his friend a giant brand new house last week." the third man said, "Well owns an airline company and he is so succesful that he gave his friend a private jet last week!"
By then the fourth man came out of the bathroom and they asked him what his son did for a living. He told them, "Well my son is a gay stripper." all the men were saying how sorry they were for them but he said, "It's allright, he seems to be doing very well. Why just last week his boyfriends gave him a brand new mercedes, a giant new house, and his own private jet!"

about a year ago a former coworker of my sisters started accusing my sister of sleeping with her husband. my sister somewhat knew him from when she did work there, which was over 3 years ago. he sent her 2 messages on myspace which she casually responded to. It never went beyond that & there was never even any flirting in them. SO somehow this girl got sis' # so she called and harassed her a few times. my sister tried to explain that she had a fiance who was in iraq that she loved very much & that she never even spoke to her husband on the phone.

Well a few months after, my sister went to pick up a take out order @ the place where this girl still works & again she started with my sister in the restaurant & her mother did too (she also works there). so once again my sister let her know, it was not true. my sister has since seen this girl & had no problems.

They have no idea about Hebrew and no idea how dangerous it is to translate revelation without having knowledge of the original language.

The "US" is used as majestic way of referring to the ONE GOD.

The Koran is translated in the same way in English --- but the Arabic is absolutey singular.
