I have a auto. 1990 Chevy Camaro, I swapped the 305 for a carbureted 350, and everytime I drive it for more than about 15 min. it starts to overheat. It usually overheats the most when I'm in stop and go traffic but it also overheats when there is no traffic... it just takes longer. The water pump is good, I flushed the radiator, and I have a 160thermastat in it. But I am almost positive that the timing is off slightly because when we put the new engine in I didn't have a timing light, I know that the chevy 350 should be timed at 4 degrees before tdc but the guy that put my engine in also put in a "mild cam", and I don't know exactly what timing it should be at with a mild cam so I just timed it the best I could by ear, also at least one of the spark plug wires has a bad connection. Could this be causing it to overheat? What should the timing be for a chevy 350 with a mild cam? thanks

I need a way t plant a white peach tree. We used to have one a long time ago and my dad was just eating one and I wondered how I could use the seen inside of it to plant a white peach tree. Last night my husband went out after work with coworkers and came home intoxicated (to the point he got sick). This was a problem a few years ago but hasn't been in the last year or so. He knows it was wrong (he drove himself home) and feels bad but thinks I should just get over it. He has promised that it wouldn't happen again (but I've heard that before). He thinks I'm staying mad at him as a way to punish him, I'm just upset that he wouldn't make better choices (we have 3 kids he needs to think about also). He says it happened because he was stressed out over work, but he's always stressed out about something. Am I wrong to stay mad/upset? What would you do in a similar situation?

It's an 01 Tacoma. Never had a single problem and took it to get buffed and detailed. Picked it up after the shop closed and it was sputtering and check engine light came on. Drove it 25 miles and it didn't change. Any ideas?

We were married for 6 years, then legally seperated. I filed for divorce, which took another 6 years. All this happened over the span of 12 years, while I was in the Army. I live in Los Angeles, California. She is suing me in a CA court, through a local attorney, from Ohio. Nobody seems to know what to do with the case, who has jurisdiction, how to calculate percentage, and the attorney fees are mounting. I served my country with honor, and she chose not to work when we were together. I deserve better than this.

I've been seeing those commercials on TV for back to school sales and it got me to thinking about when I was getting ready to start high school many many moons ago, I was just SO COOL getting on that bus with my new Trapper Keeper! I pretty much fit all the symptoms, but not entirely. I like to think i am a good person, but a lot of the times I just dont care about other people's feelings and find them boring. I am planning on becoming a model soon(as soon as im done with my portfolio). I think I am unique, very good looking, and very intelligent(my test scores prove that). I am not very shallow, yet I crave designer clothes, and pretty much the best of everything. I am a white male. I love looking in the mirror constantly just to make sure tha I look perfect. When I help out the homeless people or give money to charity I expect to be thanked/complimented/applauded for my generosity. I dream big, kinda living in my own world. I also need to be constantly complimented and have to be the best at everything. I feel that I am superior to everyone else, and can always find flaws in others.

I am a nice person though, once you get to know me. What do you think?

Hi,

I am a newbie on hybrid cars.
So, please bear with me.
I know you don’t want to buy a hybrid car to save gas money. I know it would take more than 10 years in some case to save the difference buying a hybrid vs. a gas car.

Okay, so I am willing to spend extra $8,500 to buy 2007 Honda Hybrid over 2007 Honda DX.

However …

My concern is how Honda makes their hybrid and is it really sustainable? I have heard that making a hybrid car, maintaining, and disposing of it is more environmentally damaging than a gas car?

Is there any websites or studies to show what is the difference in environmental impact of hybrid vs. gas car?

I like to see details including transportation of the materials, labors, logistic issues, and emission level to make one car.

Am I asking too much?

Please bear with me, this is a little bit complicated. Two days ago I applied for an online special....open a free checking account AND a savings and get 4.79% interest on the savings account. I decided to put $50 in checking, and $50 in the savings using my debit card from my existing bank. Once finished with the application, the bank denied me (I suspect for a low credit score...they said they'd mail me a reason later based on the fair credit reporting act)...BUT they charged my account anyway...and double drafted me for each $50 taking a total of 200$ from my account. This caused an overdraft which they pulled from my savings and charged me $10 for that transaction. Needless to say I am livid. SO, I call my bank, they will not stop the charges without me trying to resolve it with the other bank first. So I call them, and they promise to have someone in authority of that department call me back within 24 hr, no call. So I call them, they promise to call back, no call. What to do?
