1. Bob Probert
2. Joey Kocur
3. Dave "Tiger" Williams
4. Chris Nilan
5. Rob Ray

1. Gordie Howe (destroyed Lou Fontinato...no one dared touch him ever again)

4. Tim Horton (one bear hug and you're done)
5. Dave Schultz (mental!)
By the way, Tiger was willing but not really a good fighter at all. Believe me, as I saw so many games of him as a Nux.

i dont know about top 5 fighters but i do agree with you about Rob Ray aka Razr
another player that i liked as a fighter was Brad May
and i also like Andrew Peters but he needs contribute to the team more other than fighting he needs to actually put up some points he has something like 5 points in the past 2 years with Buffalo

I think that Terry O'Reilly will forever hold the reign as greatest fighter of all time. You always see hockey players stand up for teammates who get cheap shotted by somebody on the opposing team, but Terry O'Reilly was the only fighter who defended his teammates after being cheap shotted by somebody in the stands. Now that's true team loyalty!
