I'm not sure how old you are, but you both better be glad you're going to be on your period. Do not ever wish you wouldn't get it. It is a fact of life and not to get it either means you are pregnant, or there could be problems with your body. It does come at inconvenient moments sometmes, but at least you get it. I am not trying to sound like a mom here but do not ever be ashamed of having your period. If you are around people, be it guys or girls, and you need tampons or pads, don't be shy about saying you need one. Good luck with being on your period when you start school girls.
