By August 12, those 23 hour days will begin to moderate to 13- 15 hours. Get out in the dark @ 2:00am - 4:00 am. You shoulod get a good show even in Alaska.

there are visible meteor showers for everyday of the year, some more visible and more active than others, if that one is not visible, even due to cloud you - wont wait longer than a week for another,

It seems by what i just read here you will be able to have a good viewing! If i think of it & it's not in the middle of the night i will try to have a look as it will be very awesome to see

yes, you should be able to see it in the northern hemisphere ANDDDDD it will be a New Moon which means it will be even darker to see more!! hope its clear for everyone. enjoy!!
