I'm having a birthday party for my soon to be 1 year old and I planned on making drinks for us adults. Nothing too heavy but more like a cocktail party thing.

First I am not into grand conspiracies. In fact I find most of them just plain silly. However, everytime I see mention of these groups it seems they are almost always equated with Republicans. If there is a New World Order or an Illuminati isn't it much more likely that these groups would non specific in party affiliations and corrupt all politicians equally in order to achieve their goals.

Many intelligent people are thoroughly convinced that science has proven the earth to be billions of years old. How can they be wrong? The misconception builds on a neglect of the basic nature of “science” and a natural desire for moral autonomy. Actually, the age of the earth can be neither proved nor disproved by science. Scientific evidence can be compiled to support one model of earth history as compared to another, but such work amounts to a feasibility study, not proof.

Oil and gas will run out, there is a finite amount on the planet, and green and nuclear alternatives are not going to be scaleable to current use. Many people will be forced into lower energy ways of living, not make the choice on their own because it's the right thing to do.

It's looking more and more like Democrats will have to do some back-peddling on their opinions of the "surge." Do you think they will pretend like it was their idea in the first place or ignore it as lies and warn of a Tet Offensive just around the corner?

How does a rational, scientific person - who is sceptical about all sorts of spiritual matters - explain their belief in God? My best friend, a lecturer in Maths, is sceptical of anything that is not proven, but she is a devout Christian. I find the two at odds with one another.

I am not asking anyone to justify their beliefs here - I am wondering HOW you reconcile miracles with hard fact, and what thought process is involved.

From the literature it refers to him as male and he often is seen wearing masculine clothing. However I would like to point out that an egg is feminine.

I have a small retail business, and I just started selling online. I use quickbooks for my accounting. I am now collecting shipping. How do I post it? Would it be additional income that would then be used for a postage expense or is it not considered income because it is strictly for shipping?

I have a 30 gallon tank with and eclipse filter and powerhead for extra aeration. In the tank, I have 4 goldfishes....an oranda, 2 lionheads and a black moor. The 2 lionheads were purchased about a month and a half ago and about a week later the symptoms started...All my fishes started to have splitting tails and septicemia and my oranda lost some scales but grew it back in a week after Melafix. The two older fishes now have "stiff" tail bent in 90 degrees. The melafix & pumix helped with the tail splitting but not the septicemia. I have used maracyn 2 and jungle antibacterial food but neither helped. I've been feeding them peas for the last 4 days thinking it might be healthier than flakes. They swim normal as usual. They eat healthy but worried it might get worse. The water (chlorine, ammonia, nitrate, pH) everything seems to be in order. I also use stresszyme and stress coat. I have been changing 25% of the water daily since I thought it might help. Please advise. Thanks
