It has been said in this area that "repentant gays" who claim to have "changed" are proof that gay people can change their sexual orientation.

There are several funny things about this "ex-gay" thing. 1.) They claim there are "thousands and thousands" who have changed. Yet not only do we not see the thousands, we also never see any reliable statistics to back up this claim. 2.) When they are being honest, "ex-gays" admit to still experiencing same-sex attraction and desire. Heterosexuals that I know don't experience same-sex attraction and desire. 3.) "Ex-gays" tell us that they found Christ, repented, prayed to Him and He took away the same-sex desire. As a gay Christian, I've also prayed to Christ, repented for my sins, been saved by Christ, and at times asked him to remove lustful same-sex thoughts. Guess what? He does remove lustful thoughts! But I'm still a gay man. 4.) What about all the ex-ex-gays who tell us that the process does not work?

Okay, so I have a few videos on my (mac) computer on iMovie. I've tried to upload them to YouTube twice in the last 4 months. Each time the same thing happens-it says it was succesful and will be uploaded shortly. 4 months later-it's still uploading. Or never did. Does YouTube not recognize iMovie or something? Or is it something about copyright issues? They are AMVs, but there's 10000s of them already so I didn't think it would be an issue.

I am a bridesmaid at my friends wedding. She gave me an invitation but never mentioned that I could bring my boyfriend. We have been dating eachother for about 5 months and are pretty serious about each other. I don't want to offend her though, or demonstrate improper etiquette.

I assumed that bringing a date was expected and asked my boyfriend before I got the invitation.... I just got the invitation and it says my name only (but she has never met him because her and I live in different cities now).... I don't want to put her in an uncomfortable position by asking her if I can bring a date, and I don't know how to tell my boyfriend not to come.

I explained to my boyfriend that I would be busy the entire wedding, and that I would be there for the bride. He said he could easily make friends and would just hang out with me later on in the evening, when they are off doing their own thing, visiting everyone, etc.

I need help here, what should I do!?

Watching ITV News recently, the headline was that Kate Middleton had got back together with Prince William...However, it then told me about increased violence in a certain area of Iraq...Why is a bulls**t story abour royalty, who are obsolete, more important, in the news's eyes, than A WAR?! We have a table top outdoor patio heater.
It runs with a small propane tank.
Once we light it, the lamp stays lit and gives off warmth, but the propane tank gets iced over. It's the weirdest thing.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or know why this would happen?

In my marriage I have experienced getting yelled at, told to shut up , i've seen things hit and thrown around the house, and I've had things thrown at me. I have been told that based on intimacy in my marriage my husband does not know if he would marry me again. I feel so much inside that my husband does not love me and these things make me feel so bad and worth nonthing. I have asked my husband if he loves me and he says he does. H is reply confuses me because of how he treats me at times, so I don't beleive him when he says he loves me . Since i 'm doubting him i always feel so much axiety around him. This anxiety fmakes me want to ask him everything that he does, like when he's on the computer, or phone calls that he makes . It drives him craz y. My husband says i have no self confidence because of these behaviors, but i feel I don't have confidence because of him. What is going on here? How can I just focus on me and get my self confidence back not to worry about him?

do movie theaters have cameras to see if people sneak into movies without paying? my bf always wants to see "2 movies @ once"--he'll pay for one movie, but wants to sneak in to see another one w/o paying. he's never been caught, and neither has "everyone else" that he knows of. i don't feel comfortable with this at all, because i'm afraid i'll get caught and be arrested. he says that's not true; everyone does it and doesn't get caught. (which i think is as stupid as "if everyone jumps off a cliff, then it's okay to do it").

have you (or someone you know) been caught sneaking in to see one or two movies w/o paying? if you've never been caught, how do you manage to sneak in each time?

i'm tired of fighting with my bf over this, and am tempted to try it just once, but only if no one ever gets caught and there are no cameras. still, most likely i won't "break the law" and sneak in, no matter what. i still feel that it's wrong.

any prompt feedback is greatly appreciated. thanx!
