Three traveling salesmen get a motel room. The clerk charged them $30. So each man payed $10. After they go to the room, the clerk realized that he charged too much. The room was supposed to be only $25. So he gave $5 to the bell boy and told him to refund it to the salesmen. The bell boy gave each man $1 back and kept the remaining $2 for a tip. That means each man paid $9.
9 x 3 = 27 plus the 2 the bellboy kept adds to only 29. Where did the last dollar go to make $30?

how do u get a deposit back from a landlord?? (their very unprofessional; kinda like a "mom & popps" landlord) do they mail it to you after you move out? are u supposed to bring up getting it back?

I have always had irregular periods, but about a year ago they went crazy. I began skipping or having very late ones. Now for the last 3 months I have had none at all.. yet I bleed every single day..sometimes fresh blood and other times it is brown like you get at the end of your cycle. It's only spotting here and there never a constant flow. I have no "extra" pain other then cramps.. I am only 28yrs old and have been over weight my whole life. Cervical cancer runs in my family but they all had alot of pain and I do not have any. I know I am not pregnant this has been going on for a long time. I don't have insurance and I can't find anyone who will see me... even a clinic. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this may be?????

how do you PROPERLY check your engine oil? i had my engine oil changed a month ago by a shop and right when they finished they showed me on the oil stick that it was at max. but now whenever i check myself it doesnt show at one specific place where its says "max" but it shows very lightly all over the oil stick. i have tried to go driving and check it, doesnt show clearly. i have tried to start up for 5 mins then check, but still the same. i have tried to start up then put in neutral and check but still the same results. any advice?

My kid just turned 3 and goes to Day Care (preschool) near our house. Yesterday while dropping her, I saw a hyperactive kid running around the class. I saw him hit my kid and another one while running. Both started crying and 3 other kids yelled out at the same time "he always hits us".

I told the teacher and the Dir. of the place. The Dir. started to say, he usually calms down after a talk, he has his good and bad days, etc. That evening that kid struck mine with an object on her lips causing a bad bruise.

I called the Dir. and told her that her institution is not capable of handling such kids, the other kids in preschool do not have fast reflexes to handle things on their own and lastly if this kid is coming in only for 2 days a week, there is no way the day care can possibly influence his behavior when the other 5 days he is being reinforced by the other environment he's in.

What are my options, given this is a private Day Care? I'd rather err. On the side of caution.

r squad is not allowed to do extensions cuz sumone fell down during a peporalli and the school made a huge deal.
but we cant any tricks up there without it

*the beach - bright diamond sand, sunshine, wind, waves swiftly moving up and down the beach, nothing but the deep blue ocean as far as the eye can see, etc

or.....

*mountains - high elevations, wide open spaces and a big open sky, hills and canyons...giant, iron-clad mountain peaks surrounding you, nature, fresh green trees, wildlife, ...etc

if not, then you're straight. gay people don't have any desire to be intimate with people of the opposite sex.

it's not something you can choose. it's like some people like very large women and some are repulsed by them. some people like very thin people while others are repulsed by them.

so do you have desire to be intimate with the same gender? and how do you fight it? or do you understand the point i'm trying to make?

Integrate: x((x)^1/3 + (x)^1/4) in the interval [0, 1]. I can solve it without the x on the outside of the equation. However, that pesky x outside is what is throwing me off :O Thanks!

Germany obviously made a mistake invading this country. They could have never won, even if they weren't at war with Britain, USA and Canada. But...what if Germany's full military might was against the USA, Britain and Canada. Keep in mind, in all likelyhood half of all American manpower and weapons were available for the war against the Japanese. With this in mind, is it possible for a German victory in the West against the Western Allies? Yes, the Battle of Britain was a costly loss for Germany but surely if the Germans had the full power of their air force against Allied convoys in the years 1942-43, this may have proved a decisive victory over the Western Allies? Supply problems would have meant Allied defeat no? The British and Americans would have had tremendous difficulty planning their D-Day without the necessary aircraft, tanks, etc?
