did it with hubby 3 days after period without condom went for a pregnancy test but it came out neg but I still haven't got my period.I am 2 days late and 2 pregnancy test how much longer should I wait until it shows on a pregnancy test?

Usually home pregnancy tests can not detect pregnancies until 12 to 15 days after fertilization but blood tests can usually tell about 6 to 8 days after fertilization. You will not be able to tell if your pregnant 2 days after. If you are under a lot of stress that could be a reason why your period is late. I say wait a few more days and if you still don't get your period then go see a doctor and try and get a blood test done.

It depends on the woman. For some, the pregnancy test is accurate as soon as they miss their period. For others, you have to wait 7 days and then test.
Have you ever been a few days late with your period? You might have ovulated late this cycle and so your period is going to start a little later.
If you are really on pins and needles and can't wait, you could probably request a blood test which would be much more accurate.

You need to wait at least 7-10 days after a missed period to take a test....

I think you need to be 10 days late for the average test to work. You probably could find out if you get a more expensive test like First Response. Your doc can test you now... if you are desperate.

Wait at least another week. Yes, even regular people can be late when they are anxious. Also, different tests detect pregancy earlier than others. Wait a week and test again.

it can take up to another 2 weeks for it so show positve on a home pregnancy test. you may also have not started your period because apparently you are stressing about it stress can cause your cycle to be off

im in the same boat. im 2 days late and negative on 2 tests too....no signs of a period here either!
I CAN tell you that:
I am STARVING ..and have been for the past 10 days
I am brusing VERY easily
I am PEEING a LOT
I hvae Heartburn ( I hvae NEVER had heartburn before)
so...i dont know if these are symptoms or not!!!! GOOD LUCK!
