I know most people say that an alcoholic has to be able to want to change in order for them to actually change. But, I was thinking, isnt it possible to use LSD to brainwash my dad into not wanting to drink? Timothy Leary found that LSD allows people to reimprint their brain, with his experiment with jailmates, and how 80% of them changed their way of life. Can the same happen with alcoholics?

i've been toying with the idea of maybe going for an older car when i turn 17 in August because firstly insurance will be ceaper (although still stupid price), also i don't really thin kthat newer cars (00-) are particularly different from each other while older cars (1985 backwards) are all different and could also provide me with a project, the restoration and modding. Whats your thoughts ???

I have two dogs and we keep finding ticks on them, wich is somewhat normal of course, but i keep finding them on me, my children, and I'm sure my husband, he just won't tell me since I freak out so much every time now :-) is there a good way to make sure I'm getting ride of them, in carpets, etc? where do I look for them, wash my comforter, etc of course, but will they die that way??? I am using front line on the dogs and hope that will work HELP!!

It just so happenned that I answered my phone during intimacy with my wife... It happenned accidentally, you know when you do something without thinking... So whats the big deal?! Going to heaven, why don't they think their chances are slim? If heaven is reserved for 14400, will it consist of mostly blonds or brunettes? If it's only 144000 people, what religion will be the majority in heaven? What country is mostly on that list? If there are 72 virgins in heaven for every radical Muslim terrorist already, isn't heaven getting too crowded? I wonder who's on the 144000 list and who's not on it. Oooh, I know who's on the list.

I want an exchange of ideas (not bashing). If you're offended by this question, then you obviously don't know that God has a sense of humor.

Why is it that The Reporters I hear from ABC News on the radio throughout the day always sound as if they are: Just on the edge of shrieking or, hiding in a closet and speaking in a sort of "I know a secret" tone, or sound as if they are in the process of walking a tight-rope 1500 feet above the surface of the planet or just frankly have some place else to be at the moment and are in a big hurry . . . ?
It's just a personal observation.
Anyone else notice this?

I have had contractions since Thursday. I went Friday to the hosptail and they weren't showing up on the monitor and I wasn't dilated! The Dr. gave me some medicine but I still hurt all weekend. I am going to the Dr. this afternoon but I am still scared. Any ideas on what is going on??
