first quit freaking out the frontline should actually kill them all within 24-48 hours. 2 years ago i took possesion of my mothers house, it was infested with fleas as it was november i thought 30 flea bombs would work. wrong. i brought my rottweiler over with frontline plus on her, let her lay around and watch me clean. third day we had no fleas. 1 week ago i saw a bug on floor going towards outside looked at it it was tick trying to leave my house. rotty is on k-9 advantix. it will work give it 2 -3 days. vaccum everything really good. no more worries.

Vacuum daily! Dispose of the bag after each vacuuming...I give a squirt of Pyrethrin into the vacuum at the end to help kill the critters inside. Clean everything but pay special attention to the baseboards as these things like to crawl UP...onto walls for example. Spray with Permethrin, it's safe on fabric. Let sit a few hours and then wash. Finally use a dust with Pyrethrin around the house, especially where the baseboards and floors meet.

The ticks will mostly be where the dogs bed down. I'll let you answer where that is.

If you want to minimize pesticides, I guess diatomaceous earth (DE) would work too.

You have to follow several steps in order to fully get rid of them.

Firstly you must treat you dog, which you mentioned is using frontline. Don't forget to put a new dose of frontline once a month to ensure that he is rid of ticks.

Second, you must treat the environment in which you dog spends most time (the house, back yard, etc.). For treating the home, I recommend to get the Zodiac Fogger, which can be found at PetSmart or possibly walmart. It will kill all stages of the tick and prevent infestation. Also treat with sprays, also found in pet stores in areas you dog spends most time, like a bed, or a doghouse.

Also, whatever you do, do not buy the carpet powder. It makes a huge mess and when it gets in your lungs you will feel really sick and cough for up to a weak. Carpet sprays are much better and easier to use.

Purchase a flea and tick collar: cut a chunk off and toss it into your vaccuum cleaner bag. When you vac them up, they will be killed by the collar. You may have to spray your house: should have kept the dogs outside or in the garage for a few days after the application, especially if you knew they had ticks before the frontline application. And to look on the bright side: at least they aren't fleas--which jump all over!

ok you clean up the pee with a table cloth you then put it in a plastic bag. you keep on cleaning up the pee with the same cloth and putting in in the same bag and closing it tightly for about three days. Now, take him out about every hour or so and open the bag up to his nose. close the bag and he should pee. Smelling pee stimulates dogs to do so. after he does this in the grass praise him with a soft, kind voice and pet him. you can also use treats. When he goes in the house scold him and shoo him outside. He will associate going outside by being praised and going inside by being scolded. Hope I Helped!

I believe your talking about fleas, first project is to de-flea your animals. then you need to wash where they sleep. vacuuming the carpets , couch's , chairs. and then take the whole family and pets some where for the day and set off a bug bomb in your home, at least one for each story.

you got two choices, leave the animals outside or never let outside once you get the ticks off, plus you got to train them to a spot in the house for their bathe room.
you have to buy blue star ointment for the family to mix with Vaseline before applying to the skin.
lady for real get rid of the animal because or not gonna look for ticks like the grown being and they get in the hair or ear of a child and we will never now and the child could die, it will be too late but it is your call and your family call on what you are gonna do with the dogs I love also!
