Like for example you receive 3 discs, rip them all, then send them back the same day? How many discs do you reckon I could get per month using this technique?

I have aquired a lidless compost bin. it is about 1 meter high and wider at the bottom than the top. I'd like to grow potatoes for a late autumn crop. Someone said you can put some seed potatoes in the base and then add more compost as the leaves grow through and then add more seed potatoes in layers.

Would this work? and would it be a good way of maximising the space? I don't have enough garden to plant them in the usual way.

I have to buy gifts for my mother, sister, and maybe 5 friends. Thing is, I don't have my lisence yet. So I can't drive to the mall at will.
Think if I start around Halloween that'll give me enough time, like if I order some things by mail?

Instant runoff voting, or IRV. This tricky method of voting is a way that algore would have won the 2000 election. Everyone admits that Ralph Nader stole votes from algore and left the back door of the Whitehouse open for GWB to walk right through and take a seat in the Oval Office.

Here's how it works: GWB, algore and Nader are running. You then rank them 1-2-3.

GWB = 44% of the votes
algore = 31% of the votes
Nader = 15% of the votes
The other 10% are left blank.

Of the 15% that chose Nader as their number one choice, 95% chose algore for their second while 5% chose Bush as their second. Therefore 95% of Naders votes go to algore.

The result would look like this:
Bush = 44.75% of the votes
algore = 45.25% of the votes. algore WINS.

Does this seem fair? So you can still vote for the far out candidate and still get the democrat elected. Yes, it is a democrat thing, you have the "left" (algore) and the "very left" green party (Nader).

My grandmother and a friend's father both went though hospice care and both times we were with the understanding that it was the 'end' and the patients were being made comfortable and without pain.

My aunt has what we understood to be a cronic blood cancer. Not terminal, but cronic; having to take serious chemo for most of her remaining life. My aunt is 73 and willing to take the chemo. The new round would be extremely strong and make her very ill. Her two grown daughters though have convienced her to stop chemo and enter hospice care.

My cousin is certain they will continue her tests and blood work and take care of her. Somewhat like long term care but feel certain hospice is not for long term care but only to make her comfortable while she is alive.

I need advice on this matter. Any one have more knowledge then us? Our experience has been in Texas and my Aunt lives in Arkansas if that makes a difference. (Which my cousin says it does!)

I look at the people who have thrown their hats in the presidential campaign and I am slightly irritated. It seems like there are no TRUE conservatives anymore. McCain and Giuliani are moderate at best and it seems as though they are the ONLY 2 republicans that stand a chance.

I'm not a big supporter of the religious right, but I am a big supporter of conservatism. Any shot in the near future of having a true conservative run for office that actually has a chance?

I'm not talking as extreme as Pat Buchanan even...just SOMETHING conservative.

I know the Titans have not picked up anyone just spectacular but they have picked up average guys to fill the requirements for the job and they will have competition to improve their positions (guys like Reynaldo Hill, Antwan Odom, Brandon Jones, Ben Troupe, and Lamont Thompson). We all know VY is a winner and that is the main reason I am asking this question.

I'm a 26 year old mother of a one year old and I find myself thinking about how much things have changed since I was a kid! We never wore seatbelts (much less five point harnesses), no one had a bike helmet, we ate candy cigarettes, our "cell phone" came in a breifcase (and this was the height of technology), and although we had a computer (the comodor 64) no one even dreamed a computer could do what they are capable of now! How have things changed since you were a kid?

Do any other mums (or dads) get frustrated when parents take their kids to soft plays but don't supervise them. I'm not saying my girls (2 and 4 are perfect) but they know generally what is acceptable. One always comes home in tears as some other kid has done something to upset them - today - a boy throwing playballs at their faces at close range! Some mums are oblivious or don't seem to care!
