These are questions that only you can answer.
If you know what you want, just sketch it, and it doesn't have to be perfect, make sure it's the size you want.
Cut it out and go to a full length mirror and tape it to different parts of your body.
I'm sure you will be able to find the right spot.

for females the most common non painful place is anywhere on the back as females have great endorphine (pain management hormones) in the back area and human females have the fatest backs out of any females mamal in the world, but the downside is that it is the most common for females to get them on there backs, so why not try something different and get one on your calf cos that is also fatty and wont hurt as much!!! good luck

just try not to get a tattoo on something that will stretch naturally later, like a belly whether or not you want to have kids, you may still have them by accident someday

there are alot of things you need to consider
what is it?
how big is it?
is it your first tattoo?
--if so, be careful because there are certain places that hurt more than others- the one on my foot hurt like a b*tch because it is all bone and hardly any muscle or fat ya know
while the one around my waist is on a softer area it hurt mostly on my lower back/ spine. the one around my breast didn't hurt hardly at all except for on the tips where it is on my ribs and collar bone

professional piercers use needles. they're sharper than a scalpel. they convey a smiley formed hollow interior the exterior which motives little or no tissue harm. choose le piercings scar much less and could heal plenty swifter with fewer problems.

Definitley the hip. It is a great place to get one, 'cause if you get it on the lower back that is called a "tramp stamp". So the hip is the way to go if you want to look sexy but not trashy.
