Greetings {Job Opportunity}

My name is Donald Anderson, and I'm Irish (born and living in Ireland.)
I'm a freelance researcher. I am to head a environmental research in
Tropical West Africa, which is commencing soon. I do a lot of traveling to
cover various part of my research.

However most of my projects is being funded by American/Canadian
counterparts who send me payments via US/Canada based bank Money Orders
and checks. Which I have problem cashing, because it takes up to 4-6 weeks
to clear over here. Getting an accountant in the states or opening an
account would have been my best choice but I have a deadline to meet and
taking any of those choices would cost me time and a whole lot of other
requirements, which I will not be able to cope with.

I found your email via an online surveyed listing, and I am emailing you
to offer you a part time job of helping me cash checks/Money Orders in the
States/Canada. Which you will be getting a 10% payment from any amount of
check you receive as your commision for cashing the checks.

For starters your first payment will be $4,000, upon receipt of this you
are to have it cashed at your bank, deduct 10% (which is $400)as your
commission after which you will proceed to wire the 90% to me via Funds
transfer. All charges are to be deducted from the 90%.

Have it in mind that you are not putting any money upfront and your
banking informations are not required. If You are interested, you are to
provide me with the below informations to get started;

Your Name

Your Address (NOT P.O Box)

City, State, Zip

Occupation

Phone Number(s)

Note that you have to be 21 years of age and above to do this. If you are
not interested discard this message, and do not reply.

Sincerely,
Donald Anderson

I'm applying to work for Borders, and the application says to have references ready. I'm not 100% sure what that means. I know what a reference is, but how many should I have (I'm applying for bookseller or inventory team), who should I ask (professors and old guidance counselors?), and what should they be? Are they just names and contact information, or are they actual letters of recommendation?

Hi

Suppose we take the same recipe for bread which has: yeast + water, milk, honey, butter, flour, powdered milk, and a touch of salt ...

= if you knead it once, just out of the bowl and onto a floured surface, then into a bread pan, allowed to rise then baked .... how does it differ from the loaf that is ....(next section here...)

= kneaded once, put into a bowl to rise double, kneaded again, shaped and allowed to rise in a loaf pan, and baked or ....

= kneaded three times in all, with risings, and then baked ...

Q's:
* what is the difference in texture?
* what is the difference in flavor?

Thank you very much!

This is a question that pop up in a gathering between Greeks. (I thought I might put it in the forum as well):

Suppose that Turkey is a very rich, powerful and technologically very advanced nation. And Europe is nothing but a group of poor nations struggling to survive.

Would Turkish people still feel Europeans and would still want to associate with the rest of Europe? Would they still support Europe? Even more: would they spend their money to help Europe?

I am wondering whether the option of Turkish people joining the EU is just a matter of pride (being with the richest and more advanced makes sense), a benefit (get the EU funds) or a cultural bond (being with Europe in bad and good times; we cannot be anything else) that makes most Turks want to join EU (still the majority but it rapidly declines I guess).

Another question was also why the Greeks support the Turks in EU. But we knew the answer to that one...

Greetings to all my Turkish friends!

How far away from the throne is a duke/duchess? Should the duke and/or duchess die, would thei daughter be called duchess, or would she remain 'lady'.
EXAMPLE: Duke John and Duchess Elizabeth have daughter Lady Grace. Duke John and Duchess Elizabeth die, is Lady Grace now Duchess Grace?
Also, any other facts about dukes and duchesses that you know, I need as much info as possible for my story.

I'm adding a new DVD burner to my 1.7Ghz, PIV system. I currently have a CD-ROM as master on the secondary. I was thinking I'd put the DVD burner as master on the secondary. Is this a good idea and should I then move the CD-ROM to slave on the primary or slave on the secondary?

One of the LAST questions for sociology anyway. Just trying to get an idea of a public opinion.

Are U.S. families becoming weaker or just more diverse?

I was thinking of buying American Express Travellers Cheques, and was wondering how difficult would it be cash them in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid), and Portugal (Lisbon). Do I have to find an American Express? Do I have to go to an American Express travel center? And if so- are they easy to find in Spain, and if not- where else can I get them cashed. And can I use them at restaurant? Like cash, or do I need to cash it in first? And do they charge fees? I know there is a fee for buying them, but is there a fee for getting cash back as well?
