I am thinking about getting into beer home brewing as a hobby, would you recommend buying a starter kit or buy the equipment piece by piece and if so what kit? What pieces? And what sites would you recommend checking out?

i usually wear whut i want, liek when its hot i just wear boxers an a white tank haha, even tho my parents get mad at just wearin' underwear. u shud have seen their face when i wus just wearin a towel!! haha *blush* i thenk i might be the onlee one who does that tho! everyone else always wears clothes.

It's kind of hard to explain, but it's been sore for a few days now and i think i might have a lump, but its on the end of the testicle where it connects to stuff so i can't tell if it's just normal or an abnormal growth. I don't have any lower abdominal pains or any other pains around that region... Can anyone offer any insight?

Hello cruisers.
Just booked a Deluxe Ocean View Cabin on the Summit. On the diagrams I can not see any refrigerator in the little Room. (?!)
Also just noted they have no self-serve-laundry. How does that work? We are gonna be on it 14 days and my wife is worried about her underthings--she's a sweaty little thing.

I am quite a novice programmer, so I hope this makes sense. I am trying to write a Windows Application in Visual Basic using Visual Studio 2005 that allows the user to create and study "virtual" flashcards. Each card will consist of a topic/term and details about that topic/term--as with ordinary flashcards. Each card will also belong to a deck(s). Each deck represents related topics and terms. So, for instance if the user wanted to study a chapter in a book, the deck would represent the chapter and each card in that deck would represent the related topics/terms. When the user creates a card/deck, I need a way of storing this information on the end users machine. I don't want the user to have to access a remote database for this, because I don't plan on maintaining one. Is there a good solution for this problem? If so then what?

I asked another question here how to plot it and I have a very good idea of how to do it now but still have some fundemental confusion.

If I have y = 5 sin 2x

I know the period is pi (2pi/2) = pi ok.
I know my amplitude is 5 ok.

Now I want to make my points to plot. So I do my x | y table and say I want x to = 0, y = 0 ok.

Now say I want to do pi/4 for one of my quarter cycles ok.

Here is where I am lost??? Do I calculate this ?

y(pi/4) = 5 sin (pi/4)
y = 5 * (sqrt2 / 2)
y = (5 sqrt2) / 2

That can't be right? My answer should be +5?
This is where I am lost and need to figure it out. I can assume that my period is 1/2 regular 2pi ok. I know it has to go up to 5.

Here is where I even get more confused

pi / (3/4) gives me 3pi/4 right?

Well sin 3pi/4 = sqrt2/2 again... How is this -5???

I know I'm missing something real basic here but it is making it impossible for me to do this work so any help please!!! make it for an idiot to understand :)
