Hello cruisers.
Just booked a Deluxe Ocean View Cabin on the Summit. On the diagrams I can not see any refrigerator in the little Room. (?!)
Also just noted they have no self-serve-laundry. How does that work? We are gonna be on it 14 days and my wife is worried about her underthings--she's a sweaty little thing.
Thanks.

Anytime we have been in a deluxe ocean view room there has been a refrigerator. The staff will provide you with bags to send your laundry out. You could always hand wash if you remember to take detergent. Have Fun....

I have not been on the Summit but I have been on the Constellation which is the same class of ship. Our room did have a refrigerator. It does not show in pictures because it is kinda built into the cabinet under the desk. Its a mini-bar type that you pay for drinks and candy from. What we did was ask the room steward to remove the drinks and we brought our own water and soft drinks to put in it.

WE have been on several cruises that were 12 to 14 days and there was not a self service laundry. I think Carnival is the line that has that. What we had to do was use the laundry service on ship. They do charge a lot, like about $1.00 for a "T" shirt or for under clothes. Shirts and slacks were more. But they provided next day service. Just bag it and leave it in the room and the steward will get it to the laundry; they will give you a copy of the bill and charge your room tab. What I usually do for a long cruise is take enough under clothes for 8 days and on day 6 or 7 send out laundry.
