I recently read a question where someone asked about "proof" of their religious beliefs.. and it got me thinking.. Everyone believes what they do for a particular reason. Some people it's simple, childlike faith... others it is a strong knowledge of something.. etc etc.

I'm curious... What belief system do you have? (example, Christian, Muslim, Atheist, etc) .. and why?

I'm not trying to ask this to cause fights or anything.. I am just curious what brings certain people to believe certain things.

I myself am a Christian. I believe in it because when I was told about it, I had a deep push on my heart that made me feel it was right. I gave my life to God and immediately felt him comfort me. I have faith that he is there and loves me. My belief system is based on faith and what I have felt.

You hear in the news the phrase “Israel’s expansion of settlements”. But, what does that really means?

Israel was granted statehood and international recognition in 1948. This means that this country can legally have an army and bare arms. So, Israel use this power to take land for development; hence, Expansion of Settlements”.

The Palestinians do not have statehood or international recognitions. Therefore, if they bare arms and create an army to protect their land and homes, they are called terrorists.

This inequality is the root of the conflict in the Middle East. Countries that oppose Israel must accept Israel statehood in any negotiations with Israel or America. Meanwhile, there is no pressure on Israel to discontinue taking lands from the unrepresentative Palestinians.

OK I know people say we need to leave and others say we need to stay and never the 2 will agree but looking to see if we can find a real middle ground answer that might work.

Any ideas on how we can actually fix this whole situation since staying there until the end of time won't work and leaving this second probably won't? Something that both sides could agree on?

I wanna get married at the tulsa speedway (dragsters) and have 2 jet cars kick off the ceremony. then after the "i do's" my husband and i drive off in his race car to the end of the drag strip to a helicopter that will take us away to our reception then wait for us to take us off to our hunnymoon????
