This is what they need to do. You KEEP yes thats right KEEP Kwame Brown. I don't care if he's inconsistant he is only 25 and a huge body like that only comes around once in a long time (ex: Karl Malone, Shaq.) What you can then do is trade Bynum for Garnett and let Smush Parker, Shammond Williams, Aaron Mckie. and Luke Walton go. To me either you keep Luke and get rid of lamar or you get rid of Luke. I don't care that he is a great team player and unselfish he simply does not have enough basketball skills to give up that much money for. If the Lakers resign Luke that means that there is no money left to get Garnett. Realistically by getting rid of Shammond, Mckie, Smush, and Walton, they free up enough money to get KG. The best possible thing that could ever happen would be that the Lakers keep Lamar and Bynum and sign KG through free agency. This is what the lineup would be if the Lakers do these moves

This question might offend some Christians, sorry for that.

If atheism keeps growing, the new atheists are most likely former religious people. With taking Christianity as an example of a religion, my assumption is that a large part of the new atheists are former moderate Christians, who already had some doubts about gods. Probably already fairly logical people.

The chance that a fundamentalist anti-gay Christian becomes an atheist is very small.

If this is true, wouldn't that mean that with every increase of atheism, Christianity as a whole becomes more hateful? And isn't that a really scary thought?

Feel free to shoot holes in this little theory, it's just a random thought after a few beers.

Since I'm not a breeder, I know that neutering dogs and spaying b*tches are just part of my responsibility as a dog owner (I also am against tail docking and ear cropping). But will neutering/ spaying affect their ability (Will they be less aggressive or less obedient?) to protect me and my home? And is there really no difference in temperament between neutered guard dogs and spayed guard b*tches as some articles have claimed? Crime rates are high in my city, I need a dog who is obedient, will give warning growls and is intelligent.

My guppy gave birth this morning in a fry trap. It was great because the babies slipped through into the bottom so mom couldn't eat them all. She did get a few though... Anyway, I read that swordtail fry are a little bigger than guppies so will they be too big to slip through the fry trap vent into the bottom? Mommy swordtail was preggers this morning but not anymore. I saw her on the bottom of the tank but never saw any fry. I guess they all got chomped. To prevent this, I'd like to use the fry trap next time. Will it be the right size? Also, I have a couple black swordtail females. How in the world will I know when they're ready to give birth? You can't see the fry's eyes through their bellies because it's black on black. For that matter, I really couldn't see them on my velvet swordtail either. I just noticed she looked ready to explode!!! Thoughts? Thanks!

My husband and I have been married for almost 11 years. We have been separated for a little more than a year now; we have not lived together or even talked about getting back together.. things were pretty bitter between us, but all has been calmed down for the last couple of months. I still love him very much. So, about a week ago, I wrote him an email asking him if he would consider coming back home. I wasn't even expecting him to admit he'd even read it, because he usually just ignores my emails, no matter what they are about. It took like 4 or 5 days, but I got a big shock Friday night when I found a reply from him waiting in my inbox! He didn't say yes.. but he didn't say no. He said he was thinking about it. He said there was a great deal of things to just forget about, and he really needed to think about it before he gave me an answer one way or another. I can hardly contain myself. I don't know what to say to him now, I'm trying very hard not to press the issue. More to be added

I had 4 guppies. One died after only a few days in the tank (we found him sucked in the filter). Now one of my guppies (a female) has gotten pretty fat and her scales are sticking out. At first we thought she might be pregnant, but since her scales started to stick out I think she may be sick. She also seems to be swimming horizontal. Her head straight up, and her tail down.

I feel totally left out. She never has time to do anything with me. It's always, "ohh, I'm sorry, I told Peter I'd hang out with him this weekend." and when we talk, it's only about him! He was gone on a college visit this past week and weekend and all we, meaning she, talked about was how much she missed him and how wonderful he is. I don't want to feel jelous and I don't want to hate him (he's really nice!), but I feel like the third wheel. Just wanting to make sure I am doing everything right. I know I have already made some mistakes but luckily so far they haven't been fatal to my fish. Some of the things I've done I've gotten from advice here. Here's the info.
I have a 29 gallon long with 5 guppies (2 males/3 females will add more females when ammonia drops) and 2 cory cats. Have had tank running about a week.
Temp stays between 80 and 82 degrees F.
Ammonia is currently between .25 and .50 which I am controlling by doing water changes at least every other day until the bacteria can catch up. I have 0 nitrites or nitrates. I don't use any chemicals besides 1 1/2 tablespoons of salt (keeping it low until I'm sure my corys can tolerate it) and Tetra Aquasafe to get rid of chlorine.
PH levels stay between 7.8 and 8.4 despite using peat moss from the garden center which I have in a nylon bag and I either hang it on the side of the tank or set it in my HoB power filter. (additional details)

i have a 30gal tank that has 4 blackshirt terta, 2 platys, 1 betta, and 1 molly in it. i change the water a week ago and now the nitrite levels are rising and now my molly is getting sick . so i now i think i need ti increase the biological filtration. so whats the best way to do this and keep the water chemistry just right.

I am currently working an Independent Contractor at an agency for my Art Direction services. This is my main source of income. Additionally, from time to time I do graphic and video work. Now I am considering diving into Event Production as a new opportunity has come to me.

My main goal is to maximize my tax deductions as last year I paid 30% off my income. I filed as self-employed. I know the answer is incorporating but not sure as to which type of Corporation will allow me to deduct the most (equipment, furniture, car, insurance, food, travel, hiring other independent contractors, etc - can't think of any thing else). This is money that is currently getting out of my pocket - after taxes -. Any recommendation or past experiences?
