You just can't hide all the things that collide
With someone they have taken our pride.

With no regard to all the hurt they apply to our lives.
It's like with utter disregard they used a dull knife
That seems to open this wound
To leave me bleeding
Having to pick up my broken heart all over again.
Just to have to mend my mind
Now all twisted and confused

I'm 170 lbs at 5'8 and have been trying to lose weight since December. I was 180 lbs to start with, and have only lost those 10 lbs in 5 months. I used to jog about half an hour a day, but my ankles started hurting, now I'm on the stationary bike for about half an hour to 45 minutes. Every morning and night I do 100 curl ups and 25 push ups. Every other day or every three days I lift weights. I can feel my stomach tightening. Now I just need to lose that extra fat in front of the muscle. I've also been eating about 4-5 small meals a day and drinking plenty of water. Any suggestions. I'm not into doing anything drastic.

Shallow in character that is. If there is one statement that can typify our century it is that the common person on the street has become as shallow as a puddle on the side of the road.

The past has not seen so much me-ism, so much self important arrogance. While it is true that these flaws of the human character have been present through out history, there has not been this level before. Today we see the mark of this society inscribed on almost every school age kid, the glorification of getting the fast car and the girl. In history 'values' were instilled into these same aged kids. Do not miss understand here, the values I speak of are the values of kindness and truth, of fidelity and the pursuit of honour over pursuit of riches.

To use the words of then, "It makes me sick to the soul.” So, my question is Why? Why is what we have today, our society, our callousness for others and hatred of difference that comes this self assured arrogance so mach better than what was in history? Is progress worth the price?

Ok, my son was potty trained in about two weeks. My Daughter is another story. She loves sitting on the potty. She would sit there all day. So won't pee in it. She'll get mad and want her diaper on, or she'll pee in the floor. I got a doll that pee's, She just loves it. She gets so excitied about it peeing in the potty. She goes in the Bathroom with me, she gets excitied about watching me. You ask her if she pee'd, she'll tell you "yeah mommy". Then she'll get to a point, she doesn't want to do anything. She'll just say "no mommy". I've tried Cookies, Dora parties, everything to get her excitied to pee. Nothing, not a drop in the potty. I've been on so many sites, and I've tired different things. Help please..

I rolled up the new carpet, and stored it for a few years. Now I unrolled it to lay out, and it is wrinkled bad throughout the entire carpet. Will this ever lay flat again? What do I have to do to help it regain it's original shape?

I am American and we really don't know much about Katie Price (jordan) and Peter Andre, they just got their show on E! that I watched (it is ridiculous)... called Katie and Peter.

So I went surfing for info on them and wikipedia reports that he died yesterday (june 4, 2007):

"Peter André (27 February 1973 - 4 May 2007) was born in Harrow, London, England. He lived in Buxted in East Sussex, England with his wife, a model, Katie Price. He died of viral meningitis while Katie was due his third child. "

The evolutionists say that people are primates but all primates are not people. at what point do primates become people, or as they way we are a branch of primates, where is the branching off place the we can say "this primate became human"?? You can't just take two different things and say they are the same but different??
There must be some series of events or documented changes or even now living beings that are evolving into human intelligence??
