Class , whatever that is,does not affect what type of person you are.People these days do not tend to categorise themselves as much as they might have done years ago.No it is a person's attitude to other people and society in general that determines whether the person could be described as nice or not.A caring person will not worry whether a needy person comes from a poor or deprived background, it is more important what can be done in the short term to relieve their distress. And what is working class. We all have to work. The old pre WW2 definition was that a working class person was hourly or weekly paid and a middle class person had an annual salary. So there were the upper middle class consisting of aristocracy and big landowners and the the middle class who comprised the professional people like doctors, lawyers . stockbrokers, bankers etc.The lower middle class were the shop owners, the office workers and people in middle management in factories and industry. The rest were considered working class. These ideas went out of the window after the war and there were big equalisation's in society.Although the very high social toffs still like to lord it over the rest of the population the general trend has been one of class equality. No the niceness is a very individual trait, to be fostered.

i am proud to be working class. middle class doesn't make you a better person. there is good and bad in everything and everyone. my hubby works with the public and he found working class people to be a lot more down to earth than that of middle or upper classes, but that was just his personal experience.

Of course not! Being middle class you are more prone to depression (self obsession) and anorexia (more self obsession). The advantage of being middle class is that you have a cushtier life. You can sit in coffee shops waffling on and go shopping (with your 0% credit card). Unlike the over-privileged you are streetwise enough not to be shafted (or so you think-I'll just pay on my 0% credit card") and you can afford to make regular contributions to your favourite charity (to those who aren't lucky enough to be you) Does being smug make you a good person?????hmmm I am from an aspiring middle class family. My parents were very, very working class. We got out of the ghetto but spent many years in da hood. This makes me proud as it takes commitment and ambition. I am tough, so I can handle situations calmly. When I feel down I automatically think "get up off your *** and do something about it!" My life is good and I make my future. I spend time in coffee shops waffling, but I won't have a 0% credit card and I won't be shafted!

Middle class people are not better, they just think they are. Working class can be better than rich or middle-class if they live good lives.

Class are only used by people who label others, everyone is the same but different individually, class shouldn't have any effect on a persons personality
