Morally, a philosopher who uses his professional competence for anything except a disinterested search for truth is guilty of a kind of treachery?

Is the promise of the Quran never changing, established through its being memorized by hundreds of Millions of people from the time of the Prophet ?

Does that mean that even if people produced a new book it would become worthless because the actual "parchment" of the quran was the heart through memorization ?

Then is it right to say that nobody can change the quran because it was memorized by companions of the Prophet during his lifetime and was authenticated and checked by him before his passing ?

The best way to make a holy text unchangeable and truly UNIVERSAL is to have people be able to memorize the entire book from cover to cover.

Everybody on earth, no matter where they lived would recite the holy book in the original language and understand it as close to humanly possible from its original sources.

about someone who gabbed on their cellphone during an entire lunch?

I'm a busy guy, too, but unless I'm talking someone through defusing a bomb, I just don't see it.

I worked 3 jobs in the last two years and I am trying to get the w2's from my older jobs. So I have not done my taxes in two years (which is no excuse). Will I get into trouble, for not doing them for so long? Is there a way to have an extension?

My nieghbor and friend who is 18 took 2 pregnancy tests. 1 came up positive(1st one) the other came up negative. I told her that she should see the doctor to make sure and offered to drive her and go in with her. She swears that the 2nd test is right and refuses to go to the doctor. She is scared that the baby is not her boyfriend's but her ex boyfriend's and that the current one will leave her even though she is still in love with the ex and she knows he will be there for her and the other(new one) wont be.(hope that made sense!) What would be the best advice to give her now?

Live in bf has yahoo ad, lied about it, left evidence, got caught. Gets calls, hides to talk. says meeting with these women as "not a date" Says needs to talk to someone not as close to his problems, too stressful to talk to me because I get emotional. Been together 3 + years, live together, not married but basically have blended family, ex wife makes life hell for everyone, multiple stressful situations of his that I stick through. We both wanted me to stop working for the summer to be home with kids so kids can go to activities they want. Now afraid all I will be is a babysitter while he cheats, which he feels isn't cheating. He blames my weight as reason to look. My weight is now more than it was while I was losing weight in relationship, but still less than it was when we met. Stress from his ex and all the fall out of the divorce, new custody battle, a house fire and financial concerns plus he wants dinner late at night all have led to weight gain. He says lame excuses.

God loves me with or with out faith, right? So if I wait until old age before accepting Jesus, the saved have had no more love from God than I did, my whole life through. Special relationship, yes, but barring any sudden death, I can avoid God's wrath, and that's all that I need to have happen.

My old head unit bit the dust. I tested all of my speakers (only front ones were factory stock) the old fashioned way: a D-cell and 9v battery. All gave contact static except for right front. I bought a set of Pioneer 4"x6" for the front, installed, and retested. Every speaker now works.

I bought the Alpine CDE-9870 head unit (my first Alpine) and a new wiring harness. I wired the harness and Alpine plug together (except for rear speaker plug, which is no longer in use). I plugged the Alpine in and it turns on. However, there is no sound from any of the speakers (except for small pop when turning the head unit on).

I tried the POWER IC setting (both on and off) with no help. I hooked my Bose into the external RCA connections. Both of those produce sound, but nothing to the car speakers.

I tested the speaker lines with my original speaker, with no results. I also tested with a flashlight bulb. Nothing works.

Bad head unit or bad wiring?

Thanks in advance,
Doc
