Before Judaism there was Judah (Judea, and so on)--the person, the tribe, the country/province. Before Judah there was Mozes and 5 Books of Mozes and 10 commandments; the followers were called the Hebrews--the followers of Mozes or (later) Israelites, the people of the book, or the Jews. The origins of the Hebrew people also do not start with Judah nor with Mozes. I hope it helps.
P.S. There were many older religions before Mozes and before Abraham, or Noah too.

There are traces of an earlier polytheistic religion in the Bible. Some references to a goddess called Asherah, many of the heroes has aspects of solar deities from nearby areas (Moses and Samson). To be sure, by the time the Bible was written down--and probably fro some centuries before--the ancient Hebrews practiced what is now Judaism.

the oldest form of religion is animism and it dates back at least 70,000 years.
Other forms of paganism/polytheism/pantheism were prevalent prior to judaism. A prior answerer mentioned Islam. Islam is not an old religion, it began in the early 600's.. that's a relatively newcomer on the block and does not pre-date judaism.
