All the time on TV someone gets a gun and kills someone with it and they can identify them by the rifling pattern on the barrel. Well, why doesn't the criminal just swap barrels and throw the old one into a lake or something? Does that work? I mean you see them all the time going away for keeping the same gun but if they just spent a hundred bucks or so to buy a new barrel and replaced it, would they still be able to identify it as the gun used?

i love my husband a lot.he is my life.he loves me too.we have something in common which is really bad for both of us.and that is stuborness and anger.and that clashes.today for some petty reason we were arguing in the parking area of a super market and anger lead to a slap onto my face.he slapped me damn hard in front of everyone present there.he did not even bother about my self respect neither his.i am very sad about it.i cried the whole time.i dont know how to go about with it now..i wanna hurt him so badly so he cud feel the pain.i dont know how i can do that.i dunno how i shud react to him the next time he tries talking to me.i want him to be hurted as welll.i have decided not talking to him for about some days..am i right..gimme soem suggestions how to hurt him

I'm in precalculus and we just started Introduction to Conics: Parabolas. I want to know what's the vertex of:
A. y-7= -2(x-3)^2

B. y=4(x-2)^2

C. x^2 +6x+4y-3=0

In the problem:

Find the work done by a force F=-7k (magnitude 7 newtons) in moving an object along the line form the point (1,2,1) to the origin (distance in meters).

I think it's supposed to fit this equation

Work=||F|| ||AB|| Cos Q,
and I think that F=7,
but where do you get ||AB|| and the Q?

For me, it was October 2,1983...It was Carl Yastrzemski's very last game and I was there! The day before they had celebrated and had a big ceremony but, on the very last game,he got a hit and played left field for the last time..After the game was over he ran around the whole perimeter of the field and waved to everyone and I was crying like a baby!..Of course, the night the Sox won the World Series was the best night of my life..lol..but being at Fenway for Yaz's last game was a thrill!

I am a 50 year old male and I have pain in my right leg between the hip and the knee that just won't go away. I have tried a chiropractor and my regular doctor with no luck. The regular doctor says it might be arthritis but he is not sure. The pain is really intense when driving a vehicle while pushing on the gas or brake. So here are my questions.

1. Does anyone have this problem that could tell me what they think my problem might be?

2. Could it be my Hip?

3. What type of doctor should I see?

4. What is the best pain killer for this type of problem that I could take daily?

If you look at Google maps, and you go farther out from the central city and into the exurbs you see even more abandonment of the grid system . Not that the middle and inner suburbs have a grid system, it's just their roads seem more connected.
