I am a 50 year old male and I have pain in my right leg between the hip and the knee that just won't go away. I have tried a chiropractor and my regular doctor with no luck. The regular doctor says it might be arthritis but he is not sure. The pain is really intense when driving a vehicle while pushing on the gas or brake. So here are my questions.

1. Does anyone have this problem that could tell me what they think my problem might be?

2. Could it be my Hip?

3. What type of doctor should I see?

4. What is the best pain killer for this type of problem that I could take daily?

Thanks in advance for your help. It is really appreciated.

This sounds like muscle inflammation in the Hip area. the best type of doctor for what you are going through is A doctor of rheumatology. It's too bad the chiropractor didn't work. Maybe you should seek a second chiropractor for another opinion. Usually they are very good with these problems. in case sure willing to try another Chiropractor I have enclosed a link were you can find a chiropractor in your area.

A medical doctor would give you the best pain medication. for over the counter relief try Moltrin or Advil three times daily.

Soak in a hot bath with 2c. of that Epsom salts for 30 minutes. This will relax the muscle and ease the pain. You can also use a heating pad for twenty minutes several times a day.

I am 55 and the last two years I get Pains in my Hips and lower Back. In the Morning Sometimes when I wake I have Pain sometimes it is Excruciating and I hop out of Bed and do some exercise and it gives relief not always stopping the pain completly.I bend my Left leg up to my Chest and then the right and then Tip my Toes . I think it is the start of Arthritis. Once I could not Stand and was Bent over, sometimes when I am bending down working in the Garden and go to straighten up There is pain in Back and it takes a second or so to fight the pain and straighten up. There is the Possibility that it is youre Foot that is causing pain, like fallen Arches or maybe you got a bang of something in the Foot. I have used a tube of Deep Heat ,an Ointment that you rub on it is good for Sports Injuries ,sprains . and Arthritis Relief. It is in a red Packet. There is another product that does the same thing that I have not tried , Voltorol in a Brown Packet. I would suggest getting an XRay ask your Doctor see what he says. I used to Deliver Heavy Furniture for a Living and this is a cause of Arthritis. The only thing I can Suggest to you is Plague youre Doctor and get Treatment. Good Look.
