Dreams are basically your minds way of dealing with left over issues from your waking state. It is a way for it to deal with and catalog all your frustrations and desires. It isn't good or bad.

Since we all have similar thoughts, it isn't surprising that we might have similar dreams about them. The more in common you have with someone, the more likely you are to have similar dreams at similar times.

If you are in a strong relationship with someone else, that is just another step up in similarity. It guarantee's you and your other with have several common thoughts that persist and need dealing with. If you know something is troubling them, it will trouble you in your dream

I've always believed that dreams are the dreamers desires. Of course the off the walls one could be stress. And having similiar dreams means that the two people were thinking of the same person or thing.
